We really enjoyed Twigs. The Fried Green Tomatoes were great, wedge salad, Lamb, and Tomato bisque.... ON POINT. I highly recommend this establishment! Also the service was superb. I forgot the waiters name, but he was attentive, and even told our daughter a bunch of jokes to make her laugh. All around a fantastic experience. The Creme bruele was delicious to really tie the night together.

This was a good little restaurant to go to. They have 2 parts to this restaurant. You can do the fine dining side, which you need reservations for. We didn’t know this till we got there. But we were able to sit in the bar area, when seats became available. They have 2 different menus for each area. The food was really good. We ordered off the bar menu. The gentleman that waited on us was really nice & helpful. I wish I could remember his name to give him credit. The restaurant was very cute! The food was freakin delicious! If you are in the area, go check it!

We had a reservation and glad for it. (Arrived 30 min early but could not be seated; we Could have sat in the bar and had dinner but we wanted a table.) the dining area had table cloth, candlelight with twinkling white lights on a twiggy lattice. Our server was busy chatting loudly with other diners, so we had ample time to review the wine list and menu/ we ordered all courses immediately a when the server arrived. The meal did not disappoint. Our meals were uniquely prepared and delicious.

Excellent food. We ordered multiple appetizers such as Oysters Orleanaise, Seared Ahi Tuna, Fried Green Tomatoes and Grilled Romaine with Shrimp. All were delicious with the oysters being my favorite. The grilled romaine had a foreign object in it and we sent it back. Service started out great, but once our food arrived the server disappeared until it was time for the check. The hostess ignored my request for a straw while the server was MIA. Overall a good experience. Twigs has several other items I’d like to try on the menu. Reservation are recommended as it can be difficult to get in without one. The kids menu had good options and was reasonably priced.

I have to say that we really enjoyed our experience. The staff were nice and helpful. The one thing I didn't enjoy was the fried green tomatoes. But everything else was great. We will come again.

WONDERFUL! And EXCEPTIONAL service from our waiter, John! I don’t know how he was able to make everyone around us feel special. He should give lessons. All of our orders were delicious. I can’t say enough about how pleased we were. Our new very favorite place to enjoy dining!

We had a group of 4 and had dinner on 12-15-2023. Excellent atmosphere, bar tenders, appetizers, entrees and our waiter John was the best! I had seen this restaurant several times off Hwy 321 in Blowing Rock but never stopped in until now. We will be back as the cocktails, food and staff are all over the top!

Twigs was a last minute reservation but a fine choice. We started with excellent cocktails and then moved on to a wide choice of entrees and specials. I started with fried oysters Orleannaise which were delicious. I followed with a special - halibut with lobster cream sauce on a bed of green onion risotto. It was amazing! Dessert was a perfect creme brulee. Our server was so engaging and attentive. We all loved it!

Service is fast and they’re open late enough that it can accommodate people coming from out of town/who eat later. The staff was pretty helpful. The drinks were good. The flavor and portions of food were worth the price (honestly super well priced but it’s also NC so my price gauge is skewed being from NYC). I really enjoyed each dish we got at the server’s recommendation. I also loved that they asked if the checks were separate or together which made paying so much easier for the bill.

Ate at Twigs on July 27, which has become a go-to when visiting the BR area. We ate at the bar in the lounge as all tables in lounge were full and we had an absolutely wonderful time. I told my hubby we would have missed out if we’d sat at a table by ourselves. Our bartender, Brian, was great. Very attentive and very friendly. Food was great so I’m appreciating the chef and kitchen staff. We ate from bar menu having a wonderful steak and the fried chicken breast (juicy, not dry). Got to meet and speak to couples on either side of us and it was all a wonderful time. Never eaten in the dining room; loving the lounge too much. Will be back on next trip to BR.
