I recommend eating here! I have been eating here for 5 days, I come for dinner after work and get my lunch for the next day. The food here is excellent and the service is great. Their tomkha is fantastic and they have many vegetarian options.
I love the variety of choices they offer. The vegetarian sushi rolls are very good but typical of what you'd see for choices no super special rolls.
The portions are big and filling. The atmosphere is relaxing. I wish I could pick this place up and take it with me. A good place for a family dinner or dinner date with your significant other or even alone.
Ingredients taste fresh and authentic very happy with my experience all around they definitely earned 5 stars from me.

My Thai Cafe & Sushi Bar West was a good choice. Plenty of seating. Service was pleasant. The food was delicious (as always) and fairly quick. Our visit was great, no complaints and will happily return if we're on the West Side.

The rolls diamter was smaller than expected but very tatsy.
But the boat platter was very good.
It tasted fresh and looked well made.
I liked every piece of it.

I personally did not eat with the people I went with, (not my choice of food), but they loved it. They had already been here and were going back because it was good. The water was gross but I didn't drink it, it's what my people said. Quite pricey, for the 3 of them, with a tip, it was around $75/$80. Service was good, she didn't really come back and check on us, so when the tip came she still got quite a bit based off the bill, but in my mind didn't really "earn" it. Food was presented well. Hope this review is helpful.

I really enjoy their more traditional Thai dishes....but I think they need to stick to that. I tried sushi here for the first time, and honestly it was "meh" at best. By far the least impressive sushi I've had in town. :(
Update: as we paid we realized no one actually checked on us or asked how the food was throughout. I hope this was just an off night, but I'm disappointed.

Ordered a house Cabernet ($5.00), and it was pretty good, especially the very generous pour. For dinner, I was going to start with a small bowl of the Tom Yum chicken soup ($6.99) and then have the Pad Ped chicken for dinner ($13.99), but they both came out at the same time, which worked fine too. The restaurant has a spice scale from 1 to 4 chili peppers -- you won't find any dishes on the menu with 4 peppers, but that is because they ask you how spicy you want the dish when you order it -- even the Tom Yum Gai soup. I ordered the soup with two peppers (medium) and the main dish with three (hot); four peppers is described as Thai Hot! The soup was excellent, and spiced perfectly. The main dish also was excellent, but the heat made me cry. Fortunately, I had a large glass of Cabernet to ease my pain. The serving were generous, and the waiter (David) was courteous, professional, and attentive.

Food was decent but the service was surely below average. We waited at the door for 10 mins and no one bothered to seat us. When finally seated, another 10 mins wait before we got water - the only cup we had as the water was never refilled. We had to ask for the to-go box ourselves at the bar area and the lady there looked at us and kept doing her stuffs. Not sure if we will go back because, unfortunately, it seems dining there is a burden to the people serving there.
