Excellent service, love the Devil Eggs, and all the food we had, the jazz music was perfect, drinks good and strong and the prices were just right. Truly love the fact they had some serious jazz cats. Parking was easy and place has lots of room.
I went in for take out today. The place is just lovely. The bartender Evan took my order. Very, very pleasant. He answered all my questions regarding the menu items - he was very knowledgeable. I had the fried chicken and biscuit. It was phenomenal. I will definitely return to try their Sunday brunch.
Waiter was great. Food was awesome. No wait for a table. Cocktails were well crafted and reasonably priced. Decent sized beer and wine list.
Yum. Loved the southern fried chicken and mac and cheese. Chicken was tender and juicy. Mac and cheese was gooey and delicious. The collard greens were done perfectly. The restaurant itself is very comfortable and relaxed. Great waiter. Can't wait to come back and try some BBQ.
Finally, a local restaurant with a tasty Southern brunch and live jazz. Service was attentive, and the collards and biscuit with gravy was so good I admit to double portions. There's a chocolate fountain with everything from fresh, juicy strawberries to frosted chocolate and yellow cake. Can't wait to go back for their Bloody Mary and chicken fried steak.
I really enjoyed this place. They have a bar area downstairs and more of a sit-down area upstairs. Our waiter was very friendly. The food was great. A lot of classic southern meals on their menu. The price was also very reasonable. This place has a commercial smoker, so they smoke their sausage and other meats in house. If you like southern or soul food, you have to try this place out.
This place is awesome, they have a very big space for tables and the bar. They also have a special on Wednesday that was fun they have a wide variety of beer. The Bartenders are very nice been there 3 times so far this past 2 months a very good place to start if you never been to Bloomfield NJ Good Food good Whiskey I will return again
