The Roadside

We had good service for the time of day we went. The Brussel sprouts were very good! Great flavor and generous portion. Burgers were very good. There meat blend has good flavor and wasn't dry. Signature drinks were pricey and the old fashioned was not great. I am a bourbon girl and not a fan of this one. We would come here again. Enjoyed the experience.

Sunday June 5 @ 7pm. Been a while since we’ve been here. Upon walking in, the high noise volume reminded us why it’s been a while. Place was about 2/3 full inside. We chose to eat on the patio. Server informed us of all they had run out of for the day. The brisket salad came without any salad dressing! Burger and bun was very good. French fries were the under 2” length size. Our plain lemonades came in small kid sized glasses, but there were free refills. Bill came with an automatic 3% staff commitment charge - whatever that is. There were only 2 of us. Menus said burgers included fries, but the waiter informed us up front that everything was Ala carte. So a burger, fries, a brisket salad and 2 sodas came to $46. It’ll be while before we come back with those kind of prices!!!!

Went to Roadside for a couple drinks and an appetizer. The service was slow (both our beer glasses were empty for 10-15 minutes before she asked if we wanted another). Waitress evidently knew the couple at the next table, and spent quite a while talking to them. The appetizer was terrible (nachos with pulled chicken). Menu selection was not great for appetizers, but prices were decent. We left there feeling like there are many better options in Blaine.
