This place is amazing! The service was fast, the food was perfect, the staff was nice, I love how the ordering system was, and the shakes were just FANTASTIC. They are really sweet and meant for two people but, I drank a whole one. The shakes are $8 but, they are so worth it. They all have something sticking out of it like, a thing of cotton candy, a cookie sandwich, a cupcake stacked on a browny, and even an entire I've cream sandwich. The pizza was great as well. Perfect crust, just enough cheese, and the mushrooms were so flavorful. The chicken sandwiches are great as well. I had the Nashville hot and it is, in fact, HOT. Overall, the experience is 6/5 stars.

Very good craft beer. Awesome food with great flavors! Bacon lollipop is a must order. Burger was juicy..eggs Benedict was ok, eggs were over poached. Flavors of the food are very forward but not over seasoned. A Very busy active place with a lot going on. TVs on most walls to watch the games on. Highly recommend this restaurant/brewery.

Can be confusing for 1st timers picking up food, the Invictus brewing and tipsy steer (food) are separate. (I'd recommend curbside pick up but dial 105 for the tipsy steer, 1st extention number when you call is beer pick up only) Hands down one of the best farm to table restaurants I had the pleasure of getting food from.

The food from this place is good in theory but it is incredibly inconsistent and I am only compelled to go back because my wife likes their salads. I will ask for a burger cooked medium and it’s always well done. I will ask for modifications and they rarely are completed. I upgrade to fruit instead of fries for $2 extra and it looks like it’s been chewed previously. I love bacon but what type of cook puts a solid slab of fat on a burger without realizing they should have thrown that piece away?!?(see picture). Definitely go here for the atmosphere and the beer but realize the food here will never be better than mediocre especially with current management and associated turnover. I imagine this place will be bankrupt within five years.

Tried the pizza at Tipsy Steer for the first time and it was excellent! The Up In Smoke pizza was delivered with a dome on top filled with smoke for a cool presentation, but the pizza itself was delicious! Smoky and sweet with a spicy jalapeño creme drizzle. We will definitely be returning! They also brought us a milkshake that was made extra by mistake...a dream come true. They are giant with full desserts placed on top and it was creamy and delicious. Great place!!

the food is good, but the menu closes at 9:30 (except pizza) not 10pm! there are no signs anywhere that indicate this and it's not on the menu. you can't get a milkshake to go even though they aren't closed. don't make the same mistake I did thinking you've got until 10!

Brewery plus yummy food all under one roof? Yes, please!
Personally, really liked the DIY-ish food and beer concept.
For two we ordered:
+Caramelized Onion Dip: served cold with kettle style chips. Great app to share with a group who likes salty/savory foods.
+Armadillo Eggs: SO GOOD! I’d definitely order these again. They are served with fries and could absolutely be a meal for one person.
+Bacon lollipops: Yum! Served with BBQ sauce, these reminded me more of of tender, boneless ribs than bacon.
+Faribault Pride Burger: my BF said this was really good, I didn’t try it though.
All in all I thought the quantity, quality and price were all spot on.
The building is big with very tall ceilings, therefore a little chilly when it’s 7° outside. Dress warm if you’re a freeze baby like me.

Unique setting, style, and menu items/ingredients. It's part of the Invictus brewery. I did not particularly care for my food, nor did my husband. Maybe we are just more traditional. The specialty milkshake was cute but seemed to have more whipped cream than ice cream and was $8. Very busy place so obviously popular with others.
