Super nice people and quick service during a busy Sunday brunch hour. Served 9 people with the most amazing breakfast sandwiches (I had the egg, bacon and cheese on ciabatta with home made herb aioli), ate outdoors on the patio with a lovely breeze. Yum!

Yep, you found it. This is where you should eat. It’s amazing! Possibly the best hot dog (yes I wrote hot dog) EVER! House made bologna, hot dogs are amazing. We had the Reuben, burgers, poutine and bologna sandwich. Also the frozen cheer wine is top notch, add vodka and you’ll be delighted.

Y’all….. in town for the weekend, ordered a simple cheeseburger and fries….. PHENOMENAL! It takes so much skill to make something so simple so delicious. Perfect char on the burger, the fries had the perfect cut, perfect amount of salt, AND the gluten free bun was awesome. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could…. Maybe instead I’ll just come back for another. A must if in or near Black Mountain.

The owner of BAD Craft recommended this place for dinner, specifically the poutine appetizer, and I was sold. (It’s one of my faves.) We decided to split the blue plate special which was brisket with an herbed Demi glaze, mashed potatoes, and collard greens. My husband said this was the best appetizer he’d ever had and I think I agree. Our meal was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

They serve only organically fed and or free ranged dishes. Great outdoor and indor space for large parties and kid friendly. There is always a water dish outside and plenty of outdoor seating for us and furry friends.
Great selection of local beers and a full bar. If you're craving a steak or a burger you've hit pay dirt!.

Rarely give 5 star but deserving. 21 days aged steak was moist and tasty. Nice grill char on outside. The sides, beats and collards were equally tasty. Butcher board was a great experience with the house meats and different pickled veggies and cheese.
FYI, 8/10-8/11, sat and sun, they are having a festival right in front of the restaurant. Therefore you'll need to park in the SunTrust parking lot behind the restaurant. Or find space elsewhere and walk to it.

Hamburgers made the way they're supposed to. First time visiting Black Mountain and I'm ready to come back here for some more burgers. Lovely local draught. Awesome atmosphere and friendly service. Truly a winner.

Great food and a good price. We came around Thanksgiving and the staff helped us get a turkey from the butcher. Very friendly and helpful. The drinks were great, too. All around, it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

Local dining with a farm to plate philosophy. The blue plate special was delicious. Flank steak perfectly cooked with roasted squash and Brussels sprouts, and a side of black eyed peas. Local beers on draft.

Just open a few months ago and doing a good job. A high quality lunch.
I have gone back now for dinner. Can't say enough good things about our meal. It was even better than lunch. I had the butcher's cut which was a truly prime piece of sirloin in a beautiful beef sauce with potatoes, onions and slaw.
My companion had a different special, their brisket. It couldn't have been more tender and juicy. Both meals were huge portions that provided enough for a second serving the next day.
Be sure to save some room for dessert because the chocolate mousse is a deep rich chocolate experience not to be missed...not overly sweet, but very rich and filling..
