Love this place. Probably my favorite place to get pizza. Servers are always nice and food is always delicious. Never had a bad experience here

We will definitely come back the next time we're in town. This was our first trip with our dog and this place is very dog friendly. They provided him his own dog bowl and he thoroughly enjoyed the meatballs. Our server was so friendly and accommodating.

We always go to My Father's when we visit the mountains. Excellent pizza and a great atmosphere in beautiful Black Mountain. Lots of cool little shops in walking distance. You won't be disappointed. Sit outside if it's nice.

These folks need to go to every other place that make’s bruschetta and teach them the proper way to make it. It’s the best we’ve had anywhere. Pizza is delicious and the staff is super friendly and attentive.

For a town this small, there are a lot of good pizza places but My Father’s Pizza is my favorite, or at worst tied for my #1 spot. My only minor complaint is that we sat with empty drinks for stretches of our meal. But the pizza is outstanding and there are some unusual ones on the menu that are really delicious; Skinny Pig being our go-to. The carrot cake is outstanding and I’m usually one to default to chocolate. But you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Really good pizza! Came for a wedding in NC from Ohio, and decided to sample some local pizza spots. This was a very good pie. Certainly would order again, given the opportunity before I leave for home. Great tasting, very crispy pizza.

Visiting Old Fort. I wanted a locally owned slice of pizza. They don't sell pizza by the slice, so I ordered a small. It's the best pizza I've had in a long time. It tastes like pizza from Italy, not a pizza from the frozen food section of the grocery store.
The customer service was awesome as well. The waitress made sure everything was on point, no do overs. The outside ambiance reminds me of Italy, very quaint, yet inviting. The inside, clean, and inviting. I will return. Oh, the prices, very reasonable. I got my money worth in taste and quantity.

We were staying nearby for a conference and decided to look for what I call "pretentious pizza" which just means real handcrafted pizza with high quality ingredients.
We found My Father's which had great reviews so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed!
The wait time was so short considering it was a very busy time. We had just enough time to drive over and find parking. (There is a free parking lot not far from the shop.)
The restaurant was pretty packed. There are easy to access, clean rest rooms. We considered seeing if there was seating for us to switch from take out to eating in but again, it was very busy.

Hawaiian pizza lover was quite pleased with the quality of the pizza, particularly the bacon.
I am not really a cheese snob but I really loved the cheese on our pizza.
I wish I had taken photos to share but honestly, we ate it too fast to think of it.
If we come back to the area I will definitely be looking forward to stopping by again!

A great variety of pizzas. Nothing like you would see at your typical pizza joint. The chicken salad bites were amazing. Also a nice variety of local draft beer at a reasonable price. We will definitely be back here.

This is a wonderful place you can stop in and get a pizza or sandwich. Also you can have a nice night out. The atmosphere is great and not too loud. You can see that it is really fresh food. I had the hummus for appetizer and Stromboli for dinner both were excellent. I would recommend this place. Adult and kid-friendly
