Farmer's Pick Cafe

Food is alright but is pretty overpriced. The staff us also very inattentive to the point that 30 minutes after finishing our food my wife had to physically get up and track our waitress down so we could get our check. I would be more understanding if they where extremely busy but this was on a Tuesday night when we were one of only three couples eating there at the time.

A party of 6 ate here and none of us liked our ocer priced food. Two of us had fish tacos. They were not good. No flavor, cold. The salsa is what helped them and it wasn't by much. The patty melt had two patties, was not cooked fully and had no onions on it. The prices are high for the low quality food. In addition our service was not great. The server dropped off our food and never came back until we asked for the xheck. I will never eat at that place again. The buffet is very much missed.

My cup of water had a lipstick mark on the cup and when I noticed it, I let the staff know and she brought the manager over to see it and he gave me a look as if I was lying, and questioned me. I even offered to let him search my purse for lipstick to even prove to him that I didn't do it. He was a bit rude, if you ask me.... My meal was taken care of, which was a very nice gesture but he didn't seem to happy about it. He still had his doubts, you could just see it in his eyes. All in all the waitress was very nice and apologized for the situation, but not the manager.

Okay! The male server that is short with the glasses was so rude when we set down. He had a horrible attitude when we asked questions about what was available for the menu. I asked for eggs and he asked me how I would like my eggs. I said poched and he said our Cooke doesn’t do poched eggs with the most horrific attitude that took me by surprise. So I said okay what kind of eggs can he make and he responds by saying eggs. My self and the entire table I was with were in shock by his response. So I just said scrambled because I assume their cook can’t make any other style. The whole experience with me asking any question was him responding with a bad attitude. When we finished our meal it took about 25 to 30 minutes for him to give us our ticket. Mind you, the restraint was not busy at all. The serve did improve his attitude towards the end of our visit likely because I started to wear my feelings in my facial expression. All in all I would not come back again at all nor would I recommend this place

The food is actually really decent. Great selection and a lot of variety. One of the better phos at the buffets in the area. Crab legs are always fresh and delicious as well. This is a little pricier than others in the area and also we have been a few times within the past year and every time we have been given a military discount as most of our family has served and today they did not honor it and denied ever having such a promotion. There also seems to be a shortage of Staff as it was very hard to grab the attention of somebody to request a refill on beverages. Also plates stayed on the tables far too long before being cleaned off. Overall I would still recommend the buffet as it is clean and vibrant.

Weekends are extremely busy, and the wait can be long, especially when you’re hungry, but they do their best to keep up with demand and picky and messy diners (who are most times already frustrated because they’ve lost at the casino). Food selection is average and of decent quality. Staff and cooks are always nice. Come on a weeknight when it’s not so busy —I did and had so many fresh crab legs and so much Prime rib to myself! This is what makes the price worth it.
