Fireside Kitchen

Had to give a star to make this review, we were served food that made us both ill. Feel sorry for the poor employees who have to deal with the manager running this dive. Upscale Applebee's look, crazy that a restaurant directly above a 5 star steakhouse can be so awful. I was challenged by the manager about my food complaint. ROTTEN LETTUCE served and mixed into a salad. They did remove it from the bill. However 2 meals, and a drink for each of us set us back $80 Not worth it at any cost. We both felt sick the next day and had to travel. Quality control from the kitchen and overhaul the entire place IMO.

We had breakfast after a long night of gambling and Fireside Kitchen was SUPER busy. Our waitress, Misty, was so amazing. She was so friendly and made sure our food got out fast and hot. Highly recommend and I hope you can have her serve you so you can receive the superior service that we got to experience.

Ordered an omelette to go. My wheat toasts were missing, and the potatoes I specifically asked to leave out were there. The extra order of fruit that the Maitre D recommended was spoiled. Worse, it appeared that someone had dragged the container on the floor before it was put into use. Someone must have hated their job, or just plain didn't care and wanted to punish the customers. It was too bad, as the omelette was delicious.

The heirloom tomato and watermelon salad was delicious! The creamy feta, salty tomatoes and sweet watermelon with earthy greens was awesome. The pasta in the Primavera was cooked perfectly and was delicious as well. Megan was a great server. I wish they had more vegetarian options, but my dishes were great.

Had a party of 8. Started out the night getting criticized for sliding another table down as the one the setup had us all bumping elbows. Then we were served raw chicken rather than refire a new one they just microwaved it… which then made it rubbery and the lettuce was hotter than the chicken 😂. Should have read the reviews before trying this place. 2.8 stars is honestly generous for what you get.

I really wanted to liked the place. We had a dinner at the night we arrived and a breakfast in the next day. Due to COVID every other place is closed inside the hotel so you have a choice of either of Starbucks or this place. Fireside has great atmosphere this is true. We took pasta with added shrimps (it was really a WISE choice! So my advise is just add something to your pasta if you choose it as a main dish otherwise you will be disappointed. It had a lack of some ingredients mentioned in menu) and a stake for dinner. To be honest - when it became cool it tasted like a ham 🙈 on the breakfast we built an omelette on our choice so it was good. But cappuccino had some weird flavor and I was really disappointed. I am a coffee lover and expected a great one in the morning. I think that such a luxury hotel must have better restaurants food.
