The Boot

What this restaurant lacks in curbside appeal it makes up for in flavor and comfort. The Boot is a cozy restaurant with BIG tasting food! I went with 5 other people and everyone enjoyed their food. My wife and I drove by about 2 month prior and decided not to go in because from the outside it resembles the cafeteria of a summer camp. However, once you walk into the front doors it is a lot more inviting. It's a fast-casual restaurant so I recommend viewing the menu before arriving. Our food came right out. It was seasoned well and the portions were on the generous side. I ordered the fried catfish taco's with mac and cheese and fries. My friends ordered Mahi-Mahi tacos, Salmon tacos, greens, fried tomatoes, and a few other veggie sides. No one complained. It's worth noting I had a couple notorious critics with me. Needless to say, I'll be back!

Delicious! We wanted to stay in the Chelsea/Brook Highland area and based on Google Reviews, selected The Boot. The food was delicious and I loved the little touches - plating was nice, served us at exact same time, and checked to make sure everything was good. Wings were biggest I've ever eaten. I customized my sandwich a bit and they accommodated without complaint or question. Their pimento and cheese is spectacular! The bartender was friendly and provided great service. I had the Green Tea Martini even though I'm not a big fan of whiskey - Scrumptious! Highly recommend The Boot!

It has a great atmosphere; cute and rustic looking. Very nice and friendly service. I would've given this place 5 stars but the food lacks a little inspiration. The fried chicken sandwich was over fried so the edges were somewhat burnt and very hard to chew but the fried blend fries was delicious. My partner ordered the steak sandwich and it was the saddest sandwich I've ever seen and tasted. Literally was only steak and bread. No lettuce or anything. They might as well serve steak with a side of bread and fries. I think if they put a little more love to the food this place could shine! But you must try it for yourself.
