This place is underappreciated. Not in the most glorious part of downtown Birmingham, but well worth the visit. Awesome rib tips, ribs, fried chicken wings, chopped pork, fried catfish, and more. Everything is good, and if you love a sweet barbecue sauce, this is the place for you.
They have the BEST ribs in town. They are always tender and tasty. They don't have all of that fat on them like other barbecue joints. The sides are just as tasty and the tea is off the chain. I only drink tea from restaurants that I can trust for quality and theirs is great. I usually order here once a week. The service is always first class. The owner is always there and working. He is not just there giving orders to the employees. He is working making sure orders go out correctly. He always thanks and appreciates his customers and asks you back again. I can appreciate a restaurant of this magnitude. This restaurant is excellence at its best from when you first arrive with the friendly customer service, quality food, a very classy owner, and its cleanliness. I give this restaurant a 5 overall. I love Rib It Up.
I live in Gadsden so I haven’t had this place in years. I was in town so I stopped by. Let me just say it’s just as good as it was years ago. Drive thru time wasn’t that bad either. I’ll most definitely be back.
I love Rib-It-Up! I drove from Hayden for this! Yes, there are bbq restaurants closer to my home. They don't satisfy like this does. :)
It was an easy process, I called in Nana pudding, and I just had to pull up and park The young lady took my payment option and I got my pudding...
First visit at this restaurant. The food was delicious. Very fulfilling as well. I enjoyed my Salad my Husband enjoyed his Barbecue Rib Dinner. We will be returning.

The quality of the meat in my BBq Chicken sandwich was less desirable and the baked potato was smaller than usual, the fry cup half filled. For $26.00 It could have been better. These are my to go items. Everything else was great including customer service. Tea and cobbler both on point also.
