My boyfriend first introduced me to Giuseppe’s Cafe. I’ve always driven past it on my commute to school and I’m so happy to have found this place. The service is always great: the staff is always eager to please. My first dish here was the chicken & prosciutto penne because the waiter said it was popular. It was delicious. Love the sweetness of the scallions, the tender chicken and the saltiness of the prosciutto really makes it a great combination. Their tiramisu is very light and airy as a desert. I always take some to-go. The establishment is small so lunch and dinner can be full, but it’s worth the wait.
Wow...this place was outstanding we asked our waiter what to get he recommended the lasagna. Some of the best I have ever had also got the cheese breadsticks and salad most definitely would go back.

We ordered a pizza for take out and it was very good. The crust is a bit sweet but the savory sauce balances the crust very well. A really nice ratio of toppings and cheese, the crust was crisp but not overdone. I was very happy with our pizza. There are a lot of pizza options around Birmingham and some really fall short. I'd put Giuseppe's on par with Post Office Pies, Davenport's, Mafioza's and Slice; different but very good.
We enjoyed both awesome food and great service! The bread is airy and light and the entrees that everyone ordered were huge! We tried 3 pasta dishes and a sub as a group. Everything was excellent!

Pizza. We had the veggie pizza and added eggplant & chicken. Really good & reasonably priced. We also ordered cheesy bread. The bread was freshly made & the sauce was great. ( I don't like sweet sauces & this one was savory).
Addicted.. I love Giuseppe's. I love nearby and order to go all the time. It's addicting! I love the meatball sub, and the lasagna. And the tiramisu is amazing.
They rock, I have eaten there for years and they treat me like a regular should. I highly recommend this place and am glad to have such a great neighborhood spot.

Low-key and awesome!. Tried Giuseppe's for the first time tonight. The cheese bread was more than a decent serving for the price and was really good (loved the fact that they gave enough marinara for it). I got the chicken, prosciutto, and basil penne with alfredo and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the chef's calzone and loved it. We both had enough leftovers for another meal each. The atmosphere was really nice for a date. Not too fancy, but the dim lighting and quietness of the restaurant gave it a romantic feel. Service was good, and the prices for everything were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back. Would recommend to anyone!
