Their food is okay, I had their bangers and mash, which was decent enough. Atmosphere isn't great, as it was too noisy to the point of not being able to converse well. Service was also too brusque and not that friendly. An okay-ish place but nothing extraordinary. Edit: In response to the business's reply on the prior re-review, my experience took place in 2018, when you definitely had bangers and mash on the menu. I also clearly remember going to McGirk's anyway; there's no other restaurant to possibly confuse it with in the area. Unfortunately, Google seems to have removed my original review for some reason, which is why I had to repost it long after the fact.

I've been to McGirk's many times and it has always been a great experience. So far everything on the menu has been very good and it has a comfortable atmosphere. I have enjoyed numerous bands there and the clientele, well for lack of a better description "aren't dirt bags" I definitely recommend this place.

EXCELLENT WINGS! They were large, perfectly cooked, and amazing with the BYKO (Blow Your Kilt Off) sauce (if you like spicy hot sauce with an abundance of flavor). The beers were very cheap (for a bar) - Bud Light Lime bottles were only $3.00! In fact the entire menu is very reasonably priced - we had the wings and 8 beers, and the bill was under $50.00! I just ate at Hooters, had 20 wings and two tall beers, and my bill was $60+. Our waitress was top-notch as well. She was attentive without being annoyingly interruptive, efficient, and precise. Our orders were filled exactly as requested, and nothing was forgotten. The environment is easy-going and comfortable. When we arrived the entire venue was quite full, but we were able to get a table off to the side with no problem, and were able to converse in a normal voice despite the crowd. A++, I will definitely be back!
