My husband and I have been coming here for the past 5 years for date night. We love it! The service is amazing! We feel like family here. The staff always makes us feel welcome. When we bring our 4 kiddos in they are so good to them. We love this place! Highly recommend! Great staff & great food!! οΏ½

One of my very favorite places to eat in Billings! Food is fresh and delicious and the service consistently great! It is a very fun lively atmosphere and is right next to our favorite local theater, Venture Theatre . We often make a night of dinner and a show. Perfect date!
Pastas are a little over priced. Their Santo Pietro pizza is oh so yummy, served with garlicky garlic bread and, oh yes, pizza dough for the kids to play with!
Best Italian in Billings. The place is vibrant with a great atmosphere. The food is great -- everything is made in house from scratch, including the sauces and meatballs/sausage. It's just a hip, fun little spot downtown.
If you love garlic,. You will love this place. There is *a lot* of garlic in the dishes. The eggplant parmigiana was very good. If you go, though, do not sit at the 'high top' tables - they are barely big enough for two people and their plates.
Good but not great. We've eaten at Ciao Mambo 4 times and each time the food was good but certainly not the best Italian that I've had. However, the food is as expensive as any that I've had before. The servers are friendly but aloof and slow. Our biggest complaint is that it takes FOREVER to get a table, even when you have a reservation (probably because everybody else's service is so slow too...hmmmm) and the acoustics are terrible, the place is LOUD!!! The bright spot is the desert donut things....those are one of the most delicious (and easiest) treats that we have ever had.
So full!. Large portions, nice variety, good wine list. Everything is a la carte and with the portion size I'd recommend sharing. We tried the Italian donut holes for dessert - 3 of us and we couldn't finish them - could have been the sugar rush - make sure you have a table full of people if you order that dessert. Service was good both times we went although our waitress was a little put out when our friend commented that she wrote her name upside down on the paper "tablecloth" just like they do at Macaroni Grill. Our friend from Denver plans to take his wife there as he deemed it worthy of a much bigger city.

Exceeded my expectations. Food was really good. Took 20 minutes to get seated but it was well worth the wait. Had manicotti with ricotta cheese, meat ball and sausage. Ordered cannolis for dessert. They were probably one of the best I have had in a long time. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back.
It started with a 20 min wait and then our table for two was seated in a back corner in a partially enclosed room with a large party with screaming children who were running around. I ordered the $10 glass of prosecco after seeing the glasses of two other customers served at the bar while waiting filled up to about an inch of the brim. Mine was, sadly, not filled so full. We ordered the caprese appetizer, the veal scallopini,, and pasta Ravenna. The food was served fresh and the entrΓ©es were hot. They also have complimentary garlic bread that is delicious. The service was Ok. She checked on us and we weren't in need of something, but she didn't connect with us and her visits to our table felt like she couldn't get away fast enough. If I ever eat here again, I will order take out and enjoy the great food in a better environment.

Great local Italian food for a reasonable price. The wait on Friday evenings was a bit longer than most places in the area but it is simply because people know the wait is worth it!! All the staff work together to give everyone in the restaurant as pleasant experience as possible. The food was very well prepared and the menu had food ranging from authentic salads to robust pasta dishes. Everything coming from the kitchen looked delicious! The also have a great local craft beer selection. All in all the whole team made us feel welcomed and attended to. Thank you !!
Love the atmosphere, great table service, impressive selections of beer and wine, if you're into that. I had the linguine alle vognole, great flavors. A good place to make the carbs count.

Went midweek, got seated immediately. Waitress had excellent product knowledge and was very friendly. I noticed within a half hour of opening there were allot more servers and helpers, so service was exceptional, they were on point.
Be prepared for allot of food, this was our first time and we did not know what to expect, we were very surprised. Italian Nachos are like no other, excellent. Salads were on point and the meals were too. I wouldn't call it traditional Italian, but it's light years away from a chain style place. Head a chicken dish with an excellent gravy with perfectly cooked potatoes and very flavorful broccoli.
Looking forward to trying out a few more dishes there for sure.
We got to the front door at 5 o'clock when they opened and there was a line of people around the end of the block! Even with all the chaos we were seated in less than 5 minutes and dinner within 20. All 3 of our dishes were fantastic and I can't wait to go back! The service was wonderful as well.
Whoever the chefs are at Ciao mambo, I thank them!! I had the best Italian meal I've ever had in my life. It was so delicious! So perfectly cooked and prepared. The atmosphere was very lively, fun, the waitors were fabulous. I highly recommend any meal on the menu.
