WOW! All I can say is wow. We booked The Nest on Swan River site unseen for our small wedding (under 40 guests) in August 2021. I was nervous about not seeing the space before booking, but Michael and Pam were SO amazing to work with and their website provided a plethora of pictures, videos, and information that I felt beyond comfortable planning a wedding from across the country. We loved everything about this venue: the gorgeous views and scenic river, the porches overlooking the water and the spacious pavilion, the Gathering Room, and the authentic homestead buildings. The property is so well done and cared for carefully. Working with Michael and Pam was a breeze and enjoyable, they were responsive and helpful which made planning and setting up/tearing down the venue so easy! The cabins we booked were the perfect place to get ready for the wedding and to stay in. I would choose this venue all over again, our guests loved the ambiance and had the best time!

We were married here over the summer and had an incredible experience. The hosts do such an amazing job keeping the property in impeccable condition and the lodging allowed us to spend extra time with our family and friends in a relaxing setting.

What an amazing venue!! The cabins and the Inn are a perfect combination of the original rustic feel and updated appliances/comfort. The owners, Pam and Mike, were wonderful and allowed us to make the venue home for a few nights. We were able to swim off the deck in the Swan River, cook all of our meals at the venue, and set up our own fun and games on the property. We will definitely book again.

Our stay at the Nest is one I will never forget! From the location nestled along the Swan River, to the amazing hosts, every detail big and small, made it the perfect little vacation. Mike and Pam (the owners) have done such an incredible job with this secret little gem. They were quick to answer any questions and provide us with whatever we needed during our stay. Don't forget the perks that come with having a drink and some delicious food at the Perch, while enjoying some local live music on the weekends! It truly is a special place, and Pam and Mike are amazing people and hosts! We will be making this a yearly summer vacation spot!

A group of 7 women artists shared the Inn for 5 days and it was wonderful. The accommodations were spacious and we could spread out even setting up our easels in the living room. The bedrooms were large and all the beds comfortable to sleep in. The commercial kitchen was big enough for us all to be in there at once. We painted on the grounds with the beautiful Swan River as our backdrop. We were lucky to have apple trees blooming around all the outdoor seating areas where we could eat and have a drink overlooking the Swan. Pam and Mike were friendly and available at all times to answer questions and help us out. We had a stellar experience and we'll be back!

Had a wonderful experience staying at The Nest. Beautiful grounds and wonderfully communicative hosts, made the process very easy. The views of the river and outside space around the cabins are not to be beat! And was comfortable for traveling with my seven month old, very accommodating.

I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing summer vacation getaway. The whole property is locally owned and operated. The owners are wonderful people and gave us tons of recommendations for outdoor activities in the surrounding area. They really put forth an effort to make our stay the best it could be. Our cabin was very clean and cozy. It seemed like everything in the cabin was custom built; the rough, rustic wood floors, the massive tree trunk wood beams, even the wood plank countertops. I imagined a big lumberjack building this cabin from the ground up lol! The fine details really made our experience feel authentic. I think my favorite part was drinking coffee every morning outside on the deck, which sits right over the swan river. Relaxing and rejuvenating. If I could, I would spend a few weeks here every summer.

Had a wonderful say over the Forth of July weekend. the grounds are very accommodating for a range of all ages. the panoramic view along the river is hard to beat at sunset and sunrise. being able to cook out of a wonderful commercial kitchen to feed our group of 8 to 10 was beyond helpful. the owners were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had all the things we needed.
