Very exceptional experience - food was absolutely delicious and you cannot beat the view! Sure it's pricey, but to be expected for the location and food. High above Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvd sits a wonderfully casual fine dining experience: Rooftop by JG! While I found the selection of food to be a little limited, what we had was truly delicious. The outdoor seating at sunset adds to the ambience and the service is always exceptional.

The rooftop by JG is not only rooftop or restaurant it’s the perfect vibes and atmosphere. I order with my friends grill octopus and burrata for appetizers the were a perfect or awesome 👏. I got the lamps chops and lobsters 🦞 burgers and summer peas fettuccine. For dessert we got tart with ice cream

The pea soup has a gritty texture. You can taste the pea but it's not overpowering. The salmon is perfectly seared and not over seasoned. The oil and green onion sauce drizzled is an odd selection
Basically not bad. Delicious octopus, Beef Steak is good, but the onion fry for it was too simple. Not good. The salmon is delicious. Overall, not bad.

I've been here many times, and I would say the service, the food and people are the same. Their service is just getting better. I couldnt ask for more for the view and the ambiance. The service is superb! Food is excellent as well. I love everything about it. Would highly recommend.
