Pizza Fab

This place is very beautifully decorated, rustic & hip at the same time. Hostess & waitstaff were nice & friendly. We were there in the winter and they could have used one of those temporary plastic vestibules. Every time the door to the outside opened, a gust of air came in and the restaurant remained chilly. We ate with coats on! :( The bread is amazing, so we had very high hopes for the pizza. And, yes, the pizza crust is FAB! But we were underwhelmed with the variety and quality of the toppings. The cheese tasted processed and rubbery. Sausage was dry. The sauce was bland. There was just nothing inventive or outside-the-box going on atop those delicious crusts. Disappointing. I did get the spinach & beans, which were great. But I am not sure there is enough at Pizza Fab for me to return. I think this place could be great if they focused on higher quality ingredients and came up with some fresh pizza ideas.
