Carvel ice cream cakes bring out the childhood nostalgia in me!
I did not spend much time in store but the older gentleman who attended to me was super helpful. He made suggestions for best results before serving and offered to decorate the cake further for us.
The cake was as I remembered and I was transported back to my childhood and savoured each mouthful.
Carvel has my heart!

Our go to Carvel on Wantagh Ave is the best! Friendly and family owned, and the ice cream is always the freshest.

Best Carvel. Friendly clean fast . No bad words. Owner or manager remembers who you are. Keeps ice cream fresh.

I will never go to another carvel, this one is my absolute favorite! Freshest ice cream always, not too mention, Gus & his 2 Sons make you feel like family.

I always loved this place, but parking was always a big deal for me personally. But now I see there is lot security here so I can find frequent parking!! I love it even more

Not your typical Carvel! For the ice cream, sure, but the staff could not be a nicer group of people. Unbelievably nice and professional. From the attention to detail on the orders to the polite smiles and positive vibes. The people on this staff could work in a Michelin star restaurant…

When I moved to Virginia nearly 8 years ago, there was one Carvel store, but unfortunately for me, it closed soon after. I recently took my first trip to NY since my move, and chocolate Carvel was high on my list of things I needed.
The owner of this store is very, very nice. He has the full line of Carvel products served up in a covid-safe system. Other staff members who served me were just as friendly, professional, and careful. In the 4 days I stayed nearby, I visited 6 times. I left happy each time.
