Good fish & chicken. But service & restaurant cleanliness has declined seriously in recent months, around late 2019. On last visit the beverage dispensing machine was not functioning and they had generic canned soda for drink options - only 3 flavors. Floor was dirty & sticky. I got the wrong food for my order had to go back & get it corrected.

We chose the family dinner was good. I ordered the Healthy dinner lol lol, didn't like it, I was very disappointed, raw fish it looks taken from the refrigerator thaw out, put in boiling water, the presentation looked good, but the fish wasn't even cook, plus it was cold. Realy was hungry but the appetite disappear... when I taste it, it was not good at all.

I had ordered the two pieces of fish and fries and cole slaw. The fish was really quite good, despite being too salty for my taste, with a good greasy deep fried "beading". The fries were fair, but not spectacular, no extra salt is needed when here at Long John Silver's.
The "hush puppies" aren't very good, the low point of this meal. The real surprise here was the cole slaw, it was truly 5 stars, it was just exactly perfect! Ordered an 8 piece family meal to go. Got home, no french fries, no batter crumbs, no sauces. The place is a wreck. And there's a smell wafting our from the restrooms. I don't know how it remains open.

The taste of the fish is still great. I didn't care for the strange family allowing their daughter to run around the store. Seemed like the family was related to the cashier that served us the rancid cole slaw. Lady if you don't know what bad mayo tastes like, then I would hate to eat at your home. Take yourself and your nasty lingering family home. Total turn OFF!!

By far the best food i have tasted i was so happy to find this hidden treasure. The service was spectacular i was just blown away i had to update Google with the find. Guy form a line out the door its worth it. Yall just use a little less salt and its a gold mind i tell you.

The original, and for decades the only, LJS in the 'Valley...yes, the food is greasy as %@&$#*% but that's just LJS so I can't hold that against them....because it's also just so...dang...good! Crew are always nice, energetic and friendly in my experiences there.
Old school no drive-thru but still worth a visit, especially if you've never had the joy of LJS. Just remember one thing:
"...and can I have extra fried instead of 'slaw, please?"
(Unless you actually like cole slaw, in which case, I cannot help you.)
