We live locally and love to try all the local restaurants. Every time we come here we have an awesome experience. Food is fresh, tastes great, like a home cooked meal. The customer service is on point, they don't leave you waiting. The price point is amazing with the amount of food you get! We have been back multiple times and will continue to be a customer!

I’m not sure what it is. But the past two times I ordered from here were a mess. The first an order for pickup and the second was an order for delivery. The order I placed for pickup was toward the end of the night so the food to me didn’t seem so fresh. The next morning my stomach was aching and I wasn’t feeling the greatest. The order that I placed for delivery took an hour and a half, was missing most of my items, and when told (by the OWNER) that he would bring my rice and other items that were missing back, he never showed up. I had to re- call the restaurant and explain how frustrated I was that I couldn’t even eat my complete meal. I tried to give this place a second try after the first. But I most definitely will NOT be eating here again.

So disappointing! We ordered yellow rice, beans, pernil, plantains & bacalao. The food is luke warm at best. The rice, beans, and bacalao lacked typical seasoning and had no flavor; we didn't finish our food. Honestly, we dont understand the great reviews. We got the same bad results from the last 2 visits, so, we are definitely not returning again. The good: Generous servings and good prices. In the past the Mofongo was good.

Me and my family have been eating here for 6 years and we used to love it and in our opinions, they had the best Spanish food in the Bethlehem area. Sadly, my last experience was not a good one. I came here 3 days ago to take food home. The new staff I find to be very unfriendly. They don't even greet you when you walk in the door. They see you standing at the counter and don't even say they'll be right with you. I ordered a lot of food. What I ordered was pastelillos, alcapurrias, rice with gandules, pernil, tostones, and a large chicken soup. When I arrived home, I took my food out of the bag and discovered that they forgot to give me my chicken soup. I called the restaurant and let the lady who answered know and she told the guy who I think is the new owner. He denied that I ordered the soup and said he only charged me for what I ordered and that he didn't owe me a soup for the next time I came in. I get that he didn't owe it to me because it was true that he only charged me for the foods that I ordered, however, the lady I spoke with and the new owner didn't even apologize for the miscommunication. At first, I was confused at what she was telling me and while I was explaining that I did order the soup, she hung up on me. I called back and that's when she again explained that because he only charged me for what I ordered, I wasn't owed a soup. To make matters worse, the pernil was greasy and dry, the rice was dry, and all of the food was ice cold. I was very let down by my experience. This was literally me and my family's favorite restaurant. We were faithful customers and the old owner was always super friendly. He knew we were regulars and would always go out of his way to have conversation with us. Unfortunately, 3 days ago was me and my family's last time dining or taking food out of this restaurant. It is beyond me how some restaurant owners could care less about their customer's satisfaction and on top of that, be so rude when we're the ones giving them our business.
