If you like garlic, you will love Mama Nina’s. This Italian restaurant located in Downtown Bethlehem Pa has some pretty good Italian food. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs which had a very rich sweet tasting sauce which is excellent with the soft meatballs. We also had the lobster raviolis and shrimp scampi which were good too. The service OK and we gave it a four star because the food is a bit over saturated with garlic and the table seating is a bit tight inside. There is outside seating which is more spacious. This is a must visit when in Bethlehem.

My best friend took me to this place for lunch one afternoon. He was raving about this place to me for quite some time. First off, the food was good. No complaints in that department. I recommend the chicken parmigiana. The issues I had with with this establishment was bathroom. It was not well lit & dangerous. I have twisted my ankle on the steps while trying to wash my hands. The other issue I had was the 3.5% up charge for using your credit or debit card. That is ridiculous. The consumer is already paying the price for food, but your double taxing us on a payment method you voluntarily accept? Shame on you. I would not go out of my way to come back here again.

Came to dine in around 7pm and glad that they are still open. Customer service is great eventho they are already tired by their looks they still attended to our needs and served the food graciously. We ordered the appetizer crispy calamari and tastes good. The initial food served was bread with garlic was good too. It was very garlicy! For the entrée I ordersd the Mama Nina's Angel Hair Gorgonzola and it was sumptuos! Serving was abundant that it was quite hard to finish. My friends ordered chicken parmigiana and same, it was too much to handle but taste so good. Another was the Salmon garden salad. It was great too. We all went home with a happy tummy. Thanks to the staff for serving us courteously and preparing our delicious dinner.

My coworker and I visited here during a work trip. The staff was really nice. Our waiter John was everything. Very polite, knew the menu well, and was nice to look at 😉. Cozy vibe inside. Feels like a big Italian grandma's dining room. The food is expensive. Like really expensive. I paid like $16 for an app, $36 for my entree, $3 for my soda and $9 for my dessert plus tip. It was worth it though. Good for a date night, business meeting, etc.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! The service is wonderful and the food is simply amazing. I have been 11 or 12 times now and I live in Maine. It’s an 8 hour drive for us, but it’s totally worth it as a treat once in a while. Everything we’ve ever ordered there has been incredible. Favorite appetizer is the Balsamic Calamari, and we almost always get a seafood dish. If you love Italian themed food, give this place a try.

Sal ROCKS! We drove to Center City, Bethlehem for pre-Musikfest day of 2021. Parked car and walked up the alley and voila, MAMA NINAS caught our eye and ultimately satisfied our stomachs. Sal placed a basket of garlic knots on the table for us. His service was efficient, personable and his manner was impeccable through our entire dining experience. We ordered a Mama Nina salad: fresh ingredients of Kalimantan olives, fresh orange sections, Spring mix, tomato, etc ($9). The four pieces of eggplant Parmigiana over angel hair and red sauce tasted great and red sauce wasn’t over salted! ($15) The star of the table was the Fettuccine Alfredo: light, creamy, and very satisfying and fresh. ($17). Cheers to kitchen staff. It was really good. Dined al fresco on Main Street and it was a great experience!

We have been coming here for years. Chicken and pasta portions are pretty consistent with "old times," but they really seem to be paring down on veal and seafood portions while simultaneously raising prices probably $3-4 per item. I don't blame them; rising costs while trying to float as a small business sucks. Food is still delicious, but it's not the bang for the buck that it used to be.

Keep a eye on things while your here. They charge $12.99 for a sharing plate on a $15 meal. Hide a 3% credit card fee at the very end. None of this they will tell you up front. The bread is the furthest thing from fresh. A couple weeks later got my credit card statement to find our waiter added $15 extra to his tip. Good food and morals don’t apply here…..
