Tally Ho Tavern

Awesome place and great food and drink. Not knowing nothing of the area, just stopped here over night at hotel up the street for a trip in the morning. The staff were AWESOME and very friendly and personable. If I were to come back though here, it would definitely be my place to go back to. Hope to see you again and try the pizza next time that was also recommended. I had the burger and onion rings and they were great.

Tally has been one of my go to spots in Bethlehem since I turned 21 about 8 years ago. Everyone at Tally is one big family, which is rare in todays world. last year they remodeled and it looks amazing inside. The food gets better and better, it’s probably the most underrated food on the south side. All in all 5 star experience every time I’m ever there.

Where do I start…this place was a huge part of my life when I turned 21, the friends I made, the memories (and lack of), and the vibes were just immaculate. I’ve been coming back for the last 5 years and still have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is amazing and kind and the food for a college bar is actually INCREDIBLE. If you haven’t had the mozz planks yet or wings you’re missing out heavy. Tally, never change 🔥

I have NEVER been denied entry anywhere for presenting a foreign drivers license until I came across this place. I asked if my passport could do and explain my whole situation as a Venezuelan citizen and our passports, (edit in response) which although expired are still valid, containing a valid visa and the bouncer and manager said no, so I wasn’t gonna go home get since they continuously said no, couldn’t care less nor tried to at least show interest in accommodating me. So no, I’m not entitled, you did break a state law since they were all valid forms of identification as stated on Section 495(a). (end of response) In past experiences if verification is needed places make sure to have a book of foreign ID’s to check the legitimacy. It was beyond humiliating and all I gathered from this experience is that these are inexperienced employees who apparently strictly cater to Americans. So if you’re a tourist and your visiting a friend in college and would like to go out for some drinks with them, don’t even bother going to Tally Ho, they’re not familiar with the word ‘immigrant’ or ‘tourist’. Gladly Molly’s is right down the street and, from the bouncers to the bartenders, they were all incredibly nice.

I was so surprised at how empty this pub was when we went for dinner. Their restaurant week menu had descent choices and $21 for 3 courses sounded good. When I told my friend who was raised here I was going here for dinner she laughed. I guess thIs has always been a hot spot for college kids. Well it looked to me that they may party there later in the evening, but they aren't eating there. I don't know if I'm the age demographic they are looking for but I think people over 30(lol) should revisit this business. Their staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious my pictures speak for themselves. Did I mention FRIED ICE CREAM!! Even the regular menu was reasonable. They had good choices for drink specials.
