Everything was so delicious! The service was great. The waiters attentive and the absolutely not one thing tried wasn’t good. We ordered the beignets, French toast, pancakes, breakfast with meat (they make their sausages in house) the multigrain bread was so fresh, which I think they make as well. The eggs Benedict … yum yum yum

There aren't too many super cute cozy places to go grab a bite to eat when you're less concerned with the food, then the venue. When you want to go somewhere with a friend because you want to spend time, know what I mean? This is one of them!!! That's not to say the food isn't wonderful, because it is! The Thai Black Sticky Rice is SUPER yummy. Don't pass it up.

Mitzi's is an amazing fusion place. Their food combines great cooking from New Orleans, Asia and different comfort foods. Its small inside and can have a longer wait, at times, but it is completely worth it. Prices are very fair and service is excellent. They have something yummy for every type of foodie, plus good decaf, regular and flavored coffee. Highly recommended.

The flavor of the food was okay. I purchased a cheeseburger with fries today. It was well organized but the tomatoes were frozen and messily slice (very thick and thin, on the same slice) and the burger patty was pink (probably medium rare). For a person with Gastroparesis, that can be painful (especially if eating a whole burgers worth). The amount of fries was small. They were also cold and not crispy (limp) but the flavor was okay. No ketchup, mayo, or mustard was provided so the burger was dry.

I heard and read good reviews about this place. I decided to try it out with my family. It was the worst meal ever! The burgers had the texture of mush and had no flavor at all. The short rib omelet taste like the meat was spoiled. The owner ask how my meal was and told him how disappointed I was about the burger and I only took one bite. You would think he would not charge me for the burger. No he just apologized and charged me $12.00 for one bite. The owner and chef should be ashamed of the disgusting food he makes their. I will never be back their again.

I have dined at Mitzi's 6 times since the opening. After the first month there was improvement in service- I attribute that to new staff and ironing out kinks. The food has always been creative and quite delicious! The kitchen staff has picked up speed quite a bit- I've tried the spinach pie, shrimp and grits, bahn mi , and several specials - I especially enjoyed the brisket egg sandwich which was combined with smoked cheese and spicy bbq sauce . The food is always fresh and they use local suppliers - the server told me they even supply some produce from their own garden. The owner makes his own hot sauces, too. While some might think it is pricey, I would say it is quality prepared by caring cooks. The eggs are freshly cracked not carton or frozen patties which are used at the chains. I did ask for a breakfast item after 1 on a visit and was accommodated.The staff is pleasant and helpful.

I've been there twice and I do agree it's pricey (The owners old catering/bakery was as well) but I do like the atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic but the lunch could use a little variety and flavor. But I'd definitely return since it is something different and I'd like to try a few more items. My biggest complaint though is the servers. It's such cute and upbeat decor yet the waitresses seem like they don't want to be there. It just doesn't match. It feels like pulling teeth to get another drink or ask for any adaptations or suggestions. They seem to have no pride in it I guess. Maybe I caught them on bad days. That will keep me from returning more so than the cost or menu honestly.

Overpriced!!!!!. I've eaten breakfast there 3 times and have decided that the food is way overpriced and actually not as good as the first time I was there. I had the oatmeal french toast and asked for more syrup and when I got my bill I was shocked to see that they actually charged me for the syrup. Three of us had breakfast and our bill was over $46.00. Don't waste your time and money. Better places around town.

Not worth the money. Soooo...... all i have to say is WOWWW! not in a good way. over priced... food is crappy.. we went their for lunch. it was served cold to me. it had no flavor. and i eat out a lot. so i know what i am talking about. my friends also got their food cold. our waitress was nice but i felt quite ripped off for what i paid. i could have easily got 2 meals for the price with much more higher quality. someone is not doing their job right in that kitchen. i usually dont write bad reviews so i am sorry!
