I'm not sure if this Plaza Azteca is associated with the chain restaurant but it was a nice experience. The ceciche didn't feel as fresh, like maybe they made it in batches vs per order but the fajitas were good. Very attentive to water even if I had a cup full of ice by the end of it all.
My wife and I came here for the first time yesterday. Found the menu online and thought there was a good spread to order from. We were seated right away and the staff was friendly and got drinks and chips with salsa to the table right away. The food we ordered was delicious, easily in the top 3 of Mexican restaurants we've eaten at recently. Prices are just a bit more than I would like, but given the area, not unreasonable. It looked like it was closed from the outside due to the lighting and the tint on the window. The inside is nice. Was not expecting the fine dining style tables. It was sit anywhere. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. I did not have to wait for my drink to be refilled at all. My family was happy they had jarritos. The food was excellent, especially the chicken tacos. The wierd thing was the 7 cameras in such a small space. We speculated about the reasons. Bar fights? Robberies?
Food is good, BUT definitely not tex-mex or authentic Mexican food. It's a mixture of Peruvian, Cuban, Colombian with a hint of Mexican. It's good, but could use a bit more salt to enhance the flavor. The service was great and the restaurant was clean.
Amazing! Fast service, friendly and courteous staff and most importantly, authentic delicious Mexican food. The guacamole is a must. We had the Bistec Cubano and the Trio Saltado, both quite tasty. Covid friendly, definitely coming back for more !
Great service, tasty food! The waiters were really great and attentive. It would have been even better if they had drink specials to go with the yummy food. If you like tex-mex, you can't go wrong here. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, a bit pricey, but worth the experience if you are in the area and looking for tex-mex with great and fast service.
What a gem! We loved the crab & shrimp chimichangas. Service was great, attentive and knowledgeable, and drinks were tasty. We’ll be back!
First visit, we tried the Plato Grande. All the meat was done well. Our server was friendly and seemed to know many of the other patrons. Overall good experience!
I have walked by this restaurant many times and finally decided to try it out . I work close by. The food was great with very large portions. Relaxing atmosphere especially for a mexican restaurant which tend to be loud. Parking is easy. This is a wind down, no hassle, good value place to go!
Truly a hidden gem! The BEST, most AUTHENTIC Latin cuisine I have had in years. Cozy, great service and extremely affordable.
