Authentic BBQ! Delicious! Let me warn you right off the bat, the portions are large. I got much much more food than I was expecting. The food is terrific. The staff is friendly, and the prices were reasonable considering the portion size. The wild BBQ sauce is spicy, but not oppressive. I got a variety of meats, and I enjoyed the pork ribs the most Definitely stop by!

Our traveling companions are Texans who know how to smoke a brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. I do a pretty good job myself, but we are always looking for something better, more tender any maybe sweeter. Maybe its just me, but this is nothing like Texas barbeque. The sauce tastes like flavored ketchup. The brisket should be sliced across the grain and no thicker than a quarter inch- not chunks. All the meat was slightly dry, maybe try low and slow smoking. The hot link was good with a nice heat chaser. The mac n cheese is excellent and the slaw has a deliciously unique flavor, maybe apple cidar vinegar? The corn bread is unremarkable. We ordered the 4 meat sampler for $19.95 and had enough meat to feed 4 adults.

Generous portions, great smoke, the pickles were homemade and perfect with the meat. The corn salad was delicious with a hint of fresh basil. Corn bread was a different color, more like hay. Maybe honey sweetened, tasted ok. I ordered 1/2 lb of just pulled pork. Husband purchased the pulled pork sandwich and sides. The sandwich had more meat than my order of just meat. Very generous servings. Rainy day, lots of puddles, no covered seating, we managed to hit a lull and it was so worth it.

Been going here for years it's always been delicious. We just got done off 5 hour road trip. Very hungry. Very disappointed the food was less than desirable like never before. Everything was completely burnt dry old and made us very ill heartburn overpriced it was just an awful experience will never go back again I've been coming up to Sunday River for over 15 years and I've always stop there and never had a problem. I should have taken pictures of the food the beans were dry 2 tablespoons of beans coleslaw wasn't the same. The ribs in the chicken or black I don't mean lately chard I mean black. I can't believe how anybody could take pride in serving something like that. We were going to eat it there but the bugs were so bad we decided to take it to our room. We should have checked it before we left cuz we definitely would have gave it back 35 bucks down the drain. They should be ashamed

Stumbled upon this roadside truck by chance on our way to Portland and would definitely recommend. Really enjoyed the pulled pork and the ribs. The sides were all great - I especially enjoyed the baked beans and cole slaw.

Not too familiar with the area but stopped here because it smelled so good driving by. Got the beef brisket and coleslaw. Not the best quality beef but tasted good with some bbq sauce. Coleslaw was not the best I've had. Would like to come back and try some of the other meats though. Please add potato salad as a side!

Hits the spot! Excellent selection of meats and sides at a great price. Be sure to buy extra meat so that you can have extra for another day. Also on the other side of the shared parking lot is a great little store where you can get some fantastic Maine beers to compliment the meal. Be sure to look at the menu photos here first cause it’s gonna feel overwhelming!

Terrific local BBQ in Bethel, Maine. We drove by several times and the smoker was always going early in the morning and late into the evening. For our first time there, we ordered the 6-Pack to Go, which is billed as two pounds of pork, 6 rolls, large coleslaw, pickles and sauce. For our family of four, we added four orders of cornbread and asked if they could split the order into one pound each of pulled pork and pulled chicken so that we could taste both. They were happy to hear that we wanted to try both and did not miss a beat. We also tried their hot smoked cashews. Everything was delicious and our take-out was ready within minutes after placing our order. This place is definitely worth a stop or even a drive out of your way.
