It was our 1st time and definitely not the last. Wonderful dinning experience. The food was on point! Full of flavors. Even my 7 month old enjoyed the dinner date night we had 🥰
Always a delight to eat here, with the varied choices, between traditional Japanese foods, sushi, fried bits and often some specials that you might not expect. One of the big winners for me was the poké bowl. Real Hawaiian style, not that bloated stuff you're finding at chains that has kale and pita in it!
Having lived in Japan for the past 7 years, finding good and authentic Japanese food here has been a mission. Most places I take a look at the menu and that’s enough for me, it doesn’t resemble Japanese food at all. Until I drove past this place. The name was a give away as it didn’t have a generic tacky Japanese name, and further research taught me that this place was Japanese owned.
First thing I noticed upon entering was that there were Japanese people eating here, a good sign for me. The waiter Shun-San is a Tokyo native and it was a good chance to speak some Japanese. The menu was decent and the sushi not too bad. The tempura was fantastic. I’d say it’s adapted somewhat for the local palette but if I want Japanese food, this is where I will go to get my fix, and it’s the only place you should go too if you want close to authentic Japanese food.
I didn’t try the ramen dishes which I will next time, and they have sake too.
First time having sushi in almost two years, and I'm so glad to have it back in my life at House of Yoshida. The restaurant was very accommodating. I made a reservation the same day for a party of five for an outdoor dinner. Our table at House of Yoshida was set up perfectly and ready upon our arrival. Shun took care of us the entire night. Very accomodating incredibly with my food allergies. He indeed went above and beyond our dining expectations.
The food was very delicious! I ordered fresh sashimi and Japanese steak. My tummy was completely satisfied.
I can't want to come back to bring more of my friends and family! I recommend it to all.
You are never eat real Japanese food before if you don’t try this restaurant yet. This is the Best japanese restaurant in Connecticut.
I love this place! Friendly staff amazing fresh sushi and I went to get myself a gum ball and it ended up being a ten dollar gift certificate to another restaurant in town! You choose off a list of 7 restaurants and have the chance to win $10 or $20 off, just for a quarter! Love the ambience here this place is the best
ALWAYS EXCELLENT!!! We love House of Yoshida . This was our first date spot and is truly a great hidden gem of Bethel.
