Crabs To Go

Great place for seafood! It's pretty pricey. On top of that, they charge for utensils if you decide to get crabs and eat it there. On that note, their crabs are great! A bit too much seasoning, but some people may like that. Their fried oysters are also very good! It's a very good place to get seafood!

This my first time actually purchasing (21 Jun 2022) fresh (2 lbs) shrimps and 12 little neck clams from this store. And for some reason, the shrimps and little neck clams all went bad within two days which should not even be the case. Especially, since they were keep cold from the store to my home and place in the refrigerator upon arrival. After cleaning the shrimp and little neck clams. I added my favorite seasonings, place them in foil and started cooking them on my gas grill. When the shrimps were done cooking (2-3 minutes) I took a look at my little neck clams around the 8 minutes mark. None of them would open which is strange, because they were all closed during the process of rinsing them under cold water for cleaning. Now mind you, I have purchased 12 little neck clams and six of them were open and would not close when you squeeze them together. The shrimp had a funny taste to them. As if they weren't fresh at all. I think these shrimps were previously frozen, because they started to foam up while rising them under cold water. And the little neck clams were just a bad batch. Anyway, I spent $48.00 for 2 lbs of shrimps and 12 little neck clams which I wouldn't be doing again.

Perfect Thanksgiving Dinner in our new home for 2020. Heavy crabs perfectly prepared and ready right on time. Shrimp were also huge and cooked in a buttery sauce. Looking forward to ordering again. 2021 update: Easter for our friends and family and everything is still fantastic! So well enjoyed. 2022: our friends said they've been dreaming of the shrimp since having them last year at our house for Easter so of course I had to get dinner again. Full heavy crab cakes with little filler and cooked perfectly. Rockfish bites were delicious too.

Didn't eat here, just stopped for some spices but their outdoor area looked nice. They had a good brisk business going when we stopped in so seemed like their food is appreciated too. Prices are a bit high but it's quality seafood and prices are high everywhere. It wasn't outrageous and was on par with other restaurants we ate at during the week. I'd definitely like to try the restaurant portion out on our next trip.
