Asian lady who works all the time is amazing and never makes mistakes! If I could find perfect one like her I would be so happy for life!
Food is amazing.
Please don't waste time... Order the salt and pepper shrimp or the salt and pepper fish!
Ask for sweet and sour sauce. You will be most happy!

Not the fanciest. Not the showiest. Only doing take-out since the pandemic.
But an extensive menu selection. A friendly, damily-owned operation. Delicious food and ample servings. Especially convenient for me, as I reside only a few blocks away. I can either call in an order, or enter it online, and by the time I stroll up there, it's just about ready for me!

First visit for take out. I've driven by this place for years and always think "I wonder how the food is? It's my kinda place. Not fancy, mom and pop, take out only. There are not many close by options in the neighborhood for good Chinese food. PF chang's is great but $20 for an order of fried rice? Pfft.
I ordered egg foo young, fried rice and pot stickers. It's a ton of food and very tasty! So glad I FINALLY gave this place a try!

I love this place, come here to grab lunch probably once a week. The garlic green beans are so good, and I enjoy their fried rice and basically all the salt and pepper entrees. Combo meals are extremely competitively priced. Just all around fantastic place.

Been going to Chen's for many years and although I have moved out of the area, I had an appointment that brought me close. I ordered the dry fried pork ribs and they are as good as I remember, with slices of jalapeño and chopped green onion.

My new spot! Eggplant and green beans/prawns were my favorite. They even threw in extra spring rolls which were SO GOOD.

I’ve lived in Berkeley/North Oakland my whole life and had never been to this hidden gem! They were delicious and the food was very fresh especially the garlic green beans. They were seasoned so good and very crunchy. The service was fast as well. Prices are reasonable as well. I’m looking forward to trying something else next time. My order this time included the general Taos chicken fried rice and green beans, salt and pepper fish chow Mein sweet and sour chicken and veggies. Everything was a 10! Coming back soon

Don’t even go there to eat because the food is so terrible I ordered sweet-and-sour pork they gave me yesterday food I ordered shrimp fried rice they gave me white rice with a little soy sauce with the Shrimp meat about seven of them to a whole order to charge me 1195 pork egg Freon was thin as a thin pancake terrible shouldn’t even be in business so disappointment and they have food in the warmers all day long
