The worst Seven-Eleven!
I drove all the way from home to load money into my gift card. The customer service/salesperson, Maria, tells me (very rudely and angrily) that I might have to try at 4 p.m. when the owner comes. First, there are transactions only the owner can do, which means you have to wait for hours until this owner/manager completes his (maybe) part-time job somewhere. Second, the salesperson, Maria, is not only unfriendly but the rudest person I've ever met. I came to load money, and this is what they do. After wasting my time and being told she couldn't do it because she was "not authorized," I deserved an apology; this lady was very mean. The hird unfriendly person. They didn't give her authority to transact some transactions (probably they don't trust her), so we had to wait for hours until this owner came out of nowhere.
Sometimes they close at 11; for advertisement (false advertisement), they call it "24/7" ... Keep cheating until the governmnt catches you.

Excellent customer service. Clean and safe! Has all the items you might need past 1am in the morning.

*some* of the clerks working here are very nice, helpful, and great workers. However, there is one male employee here who, over the last year and beyond bad been one of the most unpleasant, rude, and abrasive peiole EVER. If you can, go to any place but here. This guy is an absolute a$$hole and I have never felt more unwelcomed in a place than here. Additionally, the past year, I have not seen this employee *once* wear a facemask, so come into this store at your own risk.

OH, THANK HEAVEN!
We totally forgot to load my purse full of snacks before heading to Berkeley to see a play. Some theaters don't allow snacks at all; others don't allow outside snacks. If no snacks are allowed, it's hard to get away with eating anything... but if concessions are sold at the playhouse, it's hard to tell in the dark if you're eating something you brought from home or an item you purchased there.
7-11 was the perfect stop. I bought spicy peanuts and sour gummies. Casey P. bought a King size Twix, some regular gummy candies and something else. It was enough to last us for the duration of the play (almost.)
Also on this stop, I bought gloves that I intend to use for gardening during an Earth Day clean-up event I'm participating in today. $2.99 to protect my little paws. What a deal!
Convenient location with a small, but appropriately sized parking lot. Glad we found this 7-11!

It's not surrounded by homeless people like the other one so it's much cleaner. Only negative is there is limited parking (like everywhere in Berkeley)

Too bad that it's claim to be open 24/7 is BS!!
