One of Berkeley's oldest continuously running Chinese establishments, displace cranks out the old school dishes the way that you remember them sweet and sour pork, cashew chicken, and other simple the lights from a time when Chinese cuisine was not quite so Gourmet, but hearty and delicious. Note, takeout is a little iffy, this is a better place to come in and sit down.

I really enjoyed this place. The food was like really good comfort Chinese food. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. This is not a fine dining place, and it is not the world's best Chinese food, but it is great food for a reasonable price. If you are a fan of tasty Chinese food like I am, you will be happy to come here.

I work around the corner and order food from here on my 30 mins break. They’re pretty quick, 10-15mins tops for my order to be ready. They offer lunch specials that come with hot and sour soup (unless requested otherwise, not sure, I think their hot n sour soup is tasty so I never ask for another!) It’s a good amount of food, affordable, and tasty! Not sure why it doesn’t have better stars. Food’s good to me! They’re to go only, prob cuz of covid. Food’s great, prices are great, good chef, quick chef, happy customer.

The food here is good; however, I was disappointed in this last visit. I ordered several dishes to go, in which the majority was good. But the orange chicken was over cooked, hard and dry. They use breast meat. And we know u can't over cook breast meat. I didn't realize this til I was home. Honestly, I've never had anything cooked like this from them. I don't want to bash too much because they do have good food, but now I know that when I order take-out, I must check each dish to see if it's fresh and cooked properly before leaving the site. So I would advise others to do the same.

I give five stars because the food is goooooood. Was I starving when I went. Yes. But still the food is amazing. I went with my mother, my husband and my 2 kids. For 5 people the order was like 53 bucks. And that's also my husband having 2 beers. The place is cheap, good and the food tastes amazing in my opinion Oh they give you alot of food. Their not skimpy at all.

Came here in anticipation of their previously great szechuan beef. Was very dissatisfied with the quality of the food, tasted like sour chips in Szechuan sauce. When confronting the staff with our unfortunate experience, we were told that this is how it is and were insinuated to leave early. Tasty crab cakes tho.
