Beef and broccoli dinner meal was pretty good. Portions seemed small at first but filled me up quite quick. Small mom and pop shop with reasonable prices 👍

I never leave reviews. But I have consistently gone to Little Hunan for over 15 years. It is the best cheap chinese food in Berkeley. Love it for what it is - a greasy delightful hole in the wall with friendly service and unbeatable prices. Cash only!

I work on campus and I've come to love this place for the combo chow mein. I lovingly refer to it as the best greasy noodle place in the bay. Don't come here expecting fancy cuisine and you won't be disappointed. It's just good americanized Chinese food. The owner is really nice. They're a mom and pop place that's been around for 30+ years. Worth supporting IMHO!

Excellent food. They were very good with their customer service, and the price was perfect compared to most Chinese restaurants. Large portions and they went out of their way to show respect to me as a customer. Definitely worth the money and definitely recommend eating here. I will be here again.

Had the Hunan Fish with rice, which was deep-fried chunks of white fish fillet in a mostly sweet sauce. It was competent and cheap, but the sauce was kind of one dimensional, and there were no vegetables. I think I'll try them a few more times and if they have a standout item, I can bump up the rating.

I am vegetarian and one night, looking for a late night eating place, discovered this little piece of joy.
The price is low (comparable to those small town mall chinese take out places) but food quality is way better.
At 11 pm it was just two people working there, and they were a little busy with the volume, but the service was prompt and they were patient.
I had eggplant and rice. Usually in those places, this dish is full of sweet sauce and oil. But was I delighted how tasty this dish was.
I also had friend rice.. again, less oil and quality ingredients.

Yesterday was our first time in this good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We had great time with the efficient service, with the magnificent food and fine drinks and with the honest cost. We will no doubt return there in a short time.
