Great for beers with friends and they serve pretty decent pies. Coming from New York, it's hard to compare to that taste, but La Val's does pretty good with their style. Definitely go grab a pie and beers with friends if you're in the area as a local or visiting for a long period of time.

hit the spot because it was the only thing open.
I had a calzone which was much larger than expected, and that was quite good. the margarita pizza was also good.
however, the inside of the restaurant was quite dirty however, and the customer service was not not friendly (not mean, they just seemed distant and apathetic)
I'd only go back if I order ahead and just pick up. the overall experience was subpar. but if you just care about the food, I'd check this place out.

I ordered the shrimp linguini and a veggy slice. My kid got a salad and a pepperoni slice.

You cannot beat the prices here! It's directly across from UC Berkeley and we got to watch the NFL playoff game here.
My only reason for not giving a 5 is that I was really cold inside. Had to wear my jacket.
Other than that it's a pretty great spot. They have a pool table and Foosball.

This place is hurting. Won’t take orders over the phone, no on taking orders in-person. Employees just standing in the kitchen while customers stand in line, not being helped. Do not patronize this business, it should not even be open if they are not serving customers.

The greek calzone wasn't bad. I think I would have liked the Italian better.

This place has the best customer service, I work near this place so my co workers and I are always here, the food is great the chicken wings are my favorite. Pizza is great the guys in the kitchen know what they are doing. The owner is always making sure everything is on point. If you are in Berkeley near campus I would come here and you can not go wrong. I know I'll be here at least every friday and Saturday.
