Having a need for dutch crunch, I decided to get lunch here. I got the Billy Parlay without mayo and extra peppers. I made it a combo with drink and chips for a $1 more.
When I unwrapped my sandwich, it was huge. The turkey, roast beef, and ham were stacked high, compressed into the dutch crunch. A tasty sandwich, but with only one complaint being the dutch crunch. The top of the bread was not crunchy. Rather, the entire bun was soft and under baked. A little disappointing as that was the main reason for me to get the sandwich.
I will give this place another chance, as maybe you need to eat the sandwich right when it is made rather than 10 minutes afterwards.

I now walk by the Subway sandwich shop and laugh at the fools that haven't realized that there is a significantly better sandwich with their name on it just around the block.
Fools!
The Sandwich Spot serves basic sandwiches with nothing too special about them. But the quality of bread, meat and cheese makes it a superior sandwich to the cardboard things you can get other places in this area.
Not every sandwich I have eaten here has been out-of-the-park but 8 out of 10 were certainly homeruns. If you want a little kick to your sandwich, ask for THE BOMB sauce!
I hate the 2 line system they have set up (it causes plenty of confusion for newbies), but once you get up to order the friendly staff will take care of you.

Good sandwiches and nice people. The point of sale system in very offensive. If I order a 12$ sandwich to go. Why am I being pressured to tip 25% on top of this? Are the employees not being paid enough? Sure. If I'm seated and there is service and dishwashing involved I understand a tip. But to be handed a sandwich and be expected to tip 25% on top of it is nuts. Good food. Will not patronize again unless it's a tip jar. I do not like the point of sale. That is pretensious.

Good, but not particularly great for any reason. I got the pastrami sandwich and it was so 'meh' that we went to Saul's for dinner. Now that's a real sandwich. Other people enjoyed theirs more, so I figure it may just be a hit or miss until you find your item.

I had the extreme displeasure today of eating at The Sandwich Spot. I ordered the Godfather, which looked to be a fair approximation of an East Coast Italian sub. I was initially impressed by the sze of the sandwich, an impression dashed upon unwrapping it. It seems the size was due to the bread and the thick, veiny slice of lettuce. The meat measured roughly two millimeters. This is an atrociously skimpy sandwich for the price, and an insult to anyone who likes food.
This was my third, and final, visit to this store. The first two times were just as dissapointing, but given the Yelp reviews, I assumed I had just gotten there on a bad day. Now I realize that this sandwich shop is simply awful. This is a massive waste of money for what amounts to bread with vinegar. Why this shop s reviewed so highly, I can't begin to imagine.

Overall, expensive for the size of a small-average sandwich. About 10$ all together for sandwich, chips, and soda combo.
I ordered the Golden Bear sandwich, dutch crunch with everything. I think my sandwich was a bit too toasted, by the end of my meal, the roof of my mouth felt bruised and cut, similar to eating Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi). I had very little avocado in it and barely even noticed my bacon. The marinated chicken took up most of the space, but I did not taste or see anything "marinated" and seemed like regular chicken.

$5 salads on Mondays! Their home made Jalepeno Ranch dressing has earned it's nickname as 'bomb' sauce. The staff are so friendly it's amazing.

I got the diplomat. It was good, but probably not worth the price. It was also extremely messy to eat and the worker who wrapped it got mustard on the outside that got all over my hand when they gave it to me.
