Fresco Mexican Grill

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this great place. I am glad to say that we passed a delightful evening and the place was unquestionably one of the reasons for that outstanding event. The team participated in a very nice manner, the meals were yummy and my friends were very pleased. We shall no dout come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

I was passing by with my husband looking for something to eat for breakfast when we stumbled upon this place. The staff was very polite & friendly the establishment was clean & the food smelled great. They had chicken on the grill & their ultimate breakfast burrito was delicious I will honestly say that I will be going back in the near future I was very pleased.

If you want a family run business that remembers you as a repeat customer, this is the place! About a year ago, they sourced different produce and added a new habanero hot sauce that is to die for. The prices are still super low for high schoolers, UC Berkeley students, and office workers alike. Burritos are always my go to, but I've never had a guacamole-stuffed quesadilla like theirs before.

Burrito was nothing special and the veggies added in my veggie burrito were a bit of a let down. However the guac I accidentally and the salsa for the chips that come with the burrito taste really fresh. If their breakfast burritos have eggs as fresh as their guac and salsa though this place might get the bump up to 4 stars after a potential future visit.

Bought a shrimp burrito for dinner. Nearly cracked my teeth halfway through on a piece of rock that presumably snuck in with the black beans: that's an automatic one star. This is probably not a constant occurrence, so to speak to the taste: meh. The shrimp are not flavorful, which doesn't surprise me considering that the seasoning seemed to consist of the cook asking whether I wanted spicy or mild (spicy, of course), and then adding the corresponding salsa to the pan with the shrimp. Maybe if the salsa was actually spicy, the burrito would be more flavorful? The black beans also lack much taste beyond their basic beaniness and are too firm for my preference. I would have given this a three star review even without the trauma of nearly cracking my teeth on a rock.
