This is a great place to buy meat (if you like that). Their cuts of meats are beautifully displayed. Besides beef and chicken, they carry things like Butchers Hash, and West Coast Scrapple. They also have duck. I noticed they have wool sponges (I have never seen them before). They carry onions and garlic. They also have books about meat.
One of the best things is they have butchers that can cut a piece of meat for you, and most markets these days don't have that kind of service. Also, they have free bay leaves.

I love The Local Butcher Shop! Best Butcher Shop in town!! These people know their stuff. When you want to know how to cook something or want the most tender meat to impress your special guest for any engagement, let me tell you this is the spot to be!! The poultry butchery class is AMAZING. The instructors are chill, kind, and really care about showing you how to process these birds thoughtfully and with minimal waste. And eating their roast chicken at the end was just a showcase in how DELICIOUS a simply prepared, ethically raised bird can be. Highly recommend!

Good people and good meat. u can get ome veggies from them too. Postin pic's of their pandemic rules for u, was not crowded, on turkey day they had a band outside to keep all cutomers happy

You'd think that a place that feels like a hipster barber shop would lean heavier on the vegetarian/vegan spectrum, and perhaps meat-alternatives are in their future. Otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about the staff & shop: their products are largely sourced locally and tasty without fault, and the Xmas ham specials (with glaze) show off the skills of the chefs-turned-butcher really well. If you need advice or help with the selection, ask - every staff member I have encountered shone with appreciation for the products and the cooking processes. I'm also really grateful that they simplify the logistics of getting a heritage turkey on the table for Thanksgiving.

Great spot to go when you need that special grass-fed, marble piece of meat from a particular reason or Farm, or when you need an old-school kind of something like guanciale, to make some real Italian pasta, the butcher's there are knowledgeable, friendly, and what is under the glass, changes with the season, whatever the season, ask him a few questions and you'll get an education in the new paradigm of Butchery, in a more sustainable way

Expensive and high quality. Staff know their stuff, and you can get whole cuts of meat to portion at home.
The butcher table is right in the middle of this small shop, nothing to hide and proud.

A real Butcher shop, great quality meats, clean & very knowledgeable. We picked up our Rabbit today, which we know will be fantastic tomorrow.(we did have it before)😉. The service, is swift & extremly friendly, today, we had live music, lovely. Happy Thanksgiving & Thank you, for great meats & service!
