Consistently delicious I must say. I ate few dishes there last night and I love the veg(potato) momo (dumpling) and their steam fish which goes well with their tingmo( steam buns) to dip in the gravy/sauce from the steam fish. The place itself is great. The seating arrangement is nice, as it is not crowded. It is fairly quiet and private.. Beautiful decor, and ambience, and quick service. It is great place to take family or friends for some good conversation. They don't rush you and I like that everything is reasonably priced.. oh and they also deliver.. if you're not sure what to order, go with their dumplings (multiple stuffing options) or sha-bhaklay
This place is awesome. Plenty of vegetarian options. Tasty!
A really wonderful dining experience. The service was very friendly, and the food was delicious. We ordered the beef curry, broad noodle soup, and pork & veggie momos. The curry and the pork momos were fantastic, and we added a bit of chili sauce to kick up the noodles. Would definitely recommend stopping by.
Tibetan food hasn’t gone mainstream in the US, and it’s really a shame.
I recommend coming here with 2 or more, so that you can order more (I guess if you want to pig out by yourself that’s cool too). We had Ting-mo, Shabhaley, Shambala curry, Momos, and Pan-fried Basa fish.
The Ting-mo is most similar to Chinese mantou, but they’re braided beautifully (see picture). The Shabhaley is like a cross between an empanada and a Chinese dumpling. It’s a special menu item that is often recommended and for good reason. It’s perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
The Momos can be ordered in a combination so that you can try more than 1 type of Momo in a batch of 8. Like the Shabhaley, they’re oh so juicy on the inside. The Pan-fried Basa fish is served on a hot plate and drizzled with a sweet and sour sauce, some greens, and lots of garlic. To say it was a flavor explosion would be an understatement.
Great place for quick bite!!

Come and try out tibetan food@nomad!
One of the best momos in the bay area. Nice small family owned Tibetan place, with very friendly staff. Do try their Laphin as well.
Such a nice place! The veg thantuk is tasty, and very big. Veg momos are tasty too. The steamed buns are very authentic. Keep in mind that Tibetan food is pretty simple and bland compared to Indian food.
Best of all is that the cook, who is probably the owner as well, comes out, talks , cares, and she is so lovely!
Great atmosphere and service, good prices too!
We loved our lunch. We ordered Momos, thukpa and a curry. Everything was good.
This is my second visit to this place. The deep fried taro cakes were pretty good. The lhasey hotpot would be the one I will order again if I return. My husband liked to fish curry.
Excellent and fresh options for vegans. Eggplant Basil, momos, and bird's nest are sensational. Warm family friendly environment. Owner is a wonderfully spirited woman.
