Was little concerned with what surrounding area that we were in but took the chance...very surprised and pleased with it. Excellent breakfast, excellent service and very clean... definitely recommend...this was our last meal in Berkeley and leaving with a happy tummy!

Stopped by on our way to Tahoe to grab a quick bite. Really good breakfast options and our server was really sweet. The hollandaise sauce on my eggs benedicts was really something. Will definitely visit again.

i used to like this place alot more. i hadn't eaten there in about ten years. they skimped out on the potatoes. and they put the wrong toast with the wrong eggs which isnt that big of deal because we both ordered over medium. however i asked for my eggs over medium well. my friend asked for her English muffin to be extra toasty. instead they over toasted my rye and put them on the under toasty egg plate. and of course the English muffin was barely warm let alone toasted... restaurant workers of America, English muffins need to go through twice!!! service was marginal the day we were there. coffee was great though i would have loved a refill!!! breakfast cost is about 15 dollars for sausage eggs and potatoes and coffee.

The server we had to start with was really good, she was an older lady, the waitress we ended up with was kind of rude, didn’t talk to us and brought our drinks with no straws, not sure if she was in a rush or whatever but my experience here is 50/50. Pancakes was good, place seemed clean, don’t like they don’t have a 6ft rule during this covid uptake, over all if your in the area I’d recommend, I wouldn’t go out my way to come here again!

If you’re having trouble getting a table at one of the other spots down the street, get yourself to Gilman Grill for some dependable breakfast and lunch fare. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in tasty food and great service. Worth the extra 2 minute drive. Lots of parking.

One of my favorite diners. Can get many good eats, no pressure to eat and leave. Family friendly neighborhood place. Good coffee too...
