Asha Tea House

Asha is my favourite tea shop in Berkeley. Their milk teas are amazing & they carry a nice range of flavours. I recommend their Hojicha, which is probably their best milk tea. The Chai, Matcha, Hong Kong lattes are also excellent choices. In addition, they sell tea oriented accessories & beautiful vases. Always a pleasure to stop by here for tea before i hit the road.

Asha is one of my favorite boba place. They use better ingredients. Such as better milk, and quality boba balls. The time they boil the boba is just right and also perfectly sweetened so it won’t gives you a headache after. I ordered wayyy too many drink there and I haven’t order anything that doesn’t taste good! My favorite one is 100% Hongkong milk tea coffee! Make sure you add boba too🤤

I had the matcha latte (3.5/5 stars), HK iced coffee (2/5 stars), and the HK Milk Tea with boba (2.5/5 stars). Everything was overly milky, almost no coffee or tea taste. To start the matcha latte was nothing special, I honestly feel that I could make a better and cheaper matcha latte with my “premium” ceremonial grade matcha at home. The HK iced coffee, looking back at it, I think we accidentally received the milk coffee version. It was basically a not as strong version of Vietnamese coffee. The Milk Tea boba, was basically milk with boba. The tea flavor was honestly non existent, but the boba was very good. Overall: 2.5 / 5 stars (>3 / 5 stars)
