Love this place! The food was excellent! My husband’s southern palette approved of the sweet tea and so did mine. That NEVER happens. One person in our party said, “best ribs I’ve ever had!” The Lazy Loaded Hash Browns are to die for. Banana pudding cupcake was amazing! And that’s just the food! The atmosphere is quaint, friendly service, great location. It’s super kid friendly without feeling like it’s a kids place and I’ve never been to a restaurant with actual high chairs like you’d have at home. The owners are creative and thought of EVERYTHING!

Such heart and soul thrown into this place! Can't wait to see what continues to come of it. Great people, great food. Stoked to see such strong local representation in the food & drinks. LOVE and appreciate the nod to "friends of Bill" on the menu. Went with a group of 8; I only snapped a few pics but between all of us we tried about half the menu. Their food is AWESOME. Fresh homemade biscuits with tomato bacon drip jam arrived at the table shortly after we were seated. I don't even like tomatoes but I wanted ALL. OF. THE. JAM. Portions were generous - most of us took home leftovers. Kung pao fried cauliflower was delicious. They have awesome deals throughout the week. If I lived closer I would be here frequently!! Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

The food is amazing!! It's a fresh atmosphere - bright, open, relaxing. I love the decor. Everyone has been really nice. And as said, the food is delicious. My husband got the chicken and waffles while I got the Lazy Goat which is brisket, pulled pork, cheese, and bacon. Their coleslaw is a unique recipe and has orange slices in it. I didn't think I'd like it but it's really good! And their breakfast potatoes are perfection. They have a kid's menu and are kid friendly. They actually have really nice high chairs. Looking forward to my next visit!

Wonderfully refreshing, in a modern area and setting, with a welcoming and friendly staff. Thus far I've stayed with enjoying the brunch which boasts a very large selection ranging from classic to unique breakfasts, and finely developed craft drinks for reseting after a rough night or long week or even for simply starting a day off with a bit more ease. This is no diner and no average experience that you would find anywhere else, this spot is unique. They even sell modern signs for the home and feature hand made natural soaps. Seriously, this place is special. The Lazy Bee seems to be a treasure worth discovering, the kind of treasure it is still a mystery but it does not fall short of being that treasure.

My very first visit to Berea, Ohio. I was pleasantly surprised to find this trendy breakfast & lunch venue in the middle of town. The service was satisfactory, but not exemplary. My French toast and bacon, with fruit was exactly what I was hoping for after a long morning, having skipped breakfast. The prices seemed reasonable for a college town. I would certainly reckoned giving the Lazy Beehive a try if you’re in the area.

EXCELLENT...!!! Renee, our server was cheerful and helpful, explaining everything to me which was perfect "bee-ing" this was my first time eating at Lazy Bee. I met Lauren and Preston the owners who are warm, accommodating, and all-around great folks. They made me feel welcome, and assured I got more than I asked for. I highly recommend the biscuits and tomato-bacon drip jam - first bite and I was in heaven! It is full of robust flavor, crunch from the bacon, and compliments the freshly made biscuits superbly. The jam was so tasty that after finishing it with my biscuits, I had to eat the rest with a fork! I then feasted on The Virginian Bee Skillet - GRAND SLAM HOME RUN...!!! The potatoes were cooked to a delightful golden-brown. The sausage gravy was hearty, and full of flavor. I liked to the pico added for a bit of tomato to kind of cut through the gravy. The eggs were just perfect. And the fried chicken breast was thick and juicy. The plate was plentiful and hit the spot. Lazy Bee is a fantastic, cool, new spot, and a welcome addition to Berea. I plan on returning again and again!

The Lazy Bee has it all. Owners Preston and Lauren Lund have a passion not only for providing great food but a great experience. You'll find a fun atmosphere, delicious food and a great location. When you step inside and look around, you'll see that there's something for everyone. A comfy couch and table area with kids activities, tables, booth, hi tops, a sweet bar area and more. It's so easy to get comfy and just relax. And, then there's the food. Delicious mix for everyone's tastes. Locally sourced and fresh. I've had the Lazy Beast (meat lovers dream), Chicken and Waffles (crispy, sweet and delicious) and the Kung Pao Califlower (amazing). Great selection of drinks as well, especially local brew. All equally yummy and filling. Staff is friendly and the energy is just fun and fresh. Come check it out!

Service was very slow. Home fries were amazing and my poached eggs were some of the best I've had, but my hollandaise sauce was cold so it was just ok. Very polite servers, all young and mostly on their phones. Waited over 10 minutes for a to go box and check with only 3 other tables other than us.
