Perk-cup! Cafe

TRULY LARGE portions of very tasty and well done breakfast entrees filled our table. I had the waffle with bourbon peach topping. Yum. They had flavored coffees and even a flavored decaf coffee. The sausage gravy biscut was outstanding as well. You got a small pot on your table of flavored or brewed coffee to keep you supplied. Add in wonderful local art for sale and a fireplace with comfy chairs. This is on our list to revisit.

Really nice breakfast, vast menu, unbeatable prices for that area. Very college town vibe considering how far it is from the college. Service is a little lack luster, probably understaffed like every restaurant in the world so don't expect a quick brunch. Very awesome food and brunch cocktails, coffee is fine but wouldn't go out of my way to visit the drive thru for a cup.

First time there. Was expecting it to be fantastic based on how busy they were. Waitress was not very pleasant and unkempt. That just grosses me out especially working in a food establishment. You can tell when someone rolled out of bed. Bloody Mary was really boring. Chicken salad sandwich had so many chewy gross pieces of chicken that came home and went straight to my dog. Loaded baked potato soup was just not good in any way shape or form. Salad was fine. That seemed pretty fresh. We still have a hefty tip; we know places are understaffed. But she didn’t deserve it. You can be busy and maybe overwhelmed. I’m very patient and understand that. But she clearly doesn’t like her job. Another disappointment.

Mother's day reservation was for 1030am. We did not get seated until about an hour later. They told us the people were still sitting at the table and they didn't want to make them leave?! Good greif. We were all hungry and had little ones with us. It was just not a good experience and I don't think I'd ever go back. Also, our party of people were separated. Just bad all around.
