Catfish Kitchen Resturaunt

Very casual down to earth strictly catfish restaurant. Great service. Wide variety of appetizers. Their generous sides to start you off - beans, hush puppies, your choice of potatoes plus deep fried catfish by the fillet order however many you want. Good food. But I might add, our beans were very good, but sorry they were cold. The rest of our food was hot and very good!

The quintessential “Lake City Fish Restaurant.” All orders come with white beans, cole slaw, and green onion. We had the fried catfish. Very tasty. Even though they were short of staff, I’ve never seen two waitresses work so hard. We were never in need of extra drinks or anything. Our waitress was fantastic. She said she had just agreed to help out, and was now working full time. My only disappointment was that I had read from another user that their tartar sauce was excellent. I dug deeper and found out their bottles were filled with the same sauce as in their packets, which I believe were Kraft. Decent, but I’m a stickler for homemade tartar sauces. Overall, a good place to get fresh catfish.
