Food & service was fantastic!
Loved the fried pickles, chicken fingers, and gravies. There wasn’t one thing my group had that I didn’t like.
Suggestion to restaurant owners:
A brush of honey butter on top of the rolls or providing honey with them would really make those fluffy rolls memorable.

Food was awful. Overcooked. Ordered "Cheddar Chicken" it was one of those chicken breasts you buy frozen, already cooked at the store. They put shredded cheddar on top of canned mushrooms and it was obviously microwaved. It was so chard and hard it couldn't be cut. Gross.
The staff talked about how they disliked their job to two elderly gentleman and when they came to take our order they said "oh think God!" Bc they were getting annoyed talking to these gentleman.
Awful place to eat! We left without eating!

The food was good but I will not be going back. Their pricing system just doesnt sit right with me. We ordered 3 orange juices my two younger daughters got a smaller glass and my teenage daughter got a larger regular size glass. They both cost $2.49 for the same drink just different amounts. My other issue is with the grits/hashbrowns pricing/replacement. On the menu the grits and hashbrowns are both $1.59. Almost all of the breakfasts come with grits, if you want to replace grits with hashbrowns they up charge you $1. I realize this amount is not much it just doesnt sit right that there is an up charge. When I ordered the waitress asked if I would like the grits and I said I didnt really want them, she offered the hashbrowns with the up charge. I asked if I didnt get the grits would I get a bit of a discount, she said no. Dont get me wrong the food was good, I just dont get the weird price fixing.

We have worked through the the below issues with owner/managing partner, and have had several problem free lunch and breakfast visits with them. I am satisfied the changes they've implemented and continue to enjoy their great food. Thank you

I have had two very poor experiences here lately. On the last, I literally waited an hour and then walked out before receiving my order. They intercepted me and said, "It's ready" and unbelievably it was completely wrong. It's too bad, they have really great food here. I hope they get they "stuff" together. I have reduced the rating from four stars - to two.
I actually had a poor experience here my first time. However, I am glad I tried it again and realized that is was as suspected, "a poor server."
This place is great; great food at reasonable prices. The home cooking is excellent. I have tried the mushroom burger, the chicken strips, the chicken & dumplings, the meatloaf and the chocolate fried pie; all were absolutely great. I intend to give their breakfast a try.
Oh, their mashed potatoes are wonderful, along with their hand battered onion rings.
I struggled with giving them a 5 star...

Tonight was our first visit to Silo's. Admittedly, went arrived at 7pm, one hour before closing time. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, acting like we were the only customers there (the place was fairly busy).
I ordered the loaded baked potato. At $3.99 it was a good price for what you get. I also ordered a side of points beans. My wife got the hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, and great northern beans, along with hot-water cornbread. My pintos were delicious! The baked potato, however, was cold. My wife's white beans were okay, not great. Her steak was rather blank, and the gravy was obviously from a powder. The hot-water cornbread was fantastic! It did have jalapeno, which I didn't notice on the menu. My wife couldn't eat it for this reason. Lucky for me, cause it was delicious. We'll give them another try some day, mostly because of the excellent service we received from the staff. Give them a try, they just might be your cup of tea.

Immediate seating. Waitress friendly. We ordered two items from menu.
Chicken fried steak 80% gristle, undateable.
Chopped steak with sauteed onions and mushrooms. Steak patty was tough and burnt on top and bottom. Two small pieces of onion and mushrooms.
Every time I pass by there are lots of cars, and obviously customers.
If the food quality doesn't improve, will not stay open very long.
We will try again in a few weeks.
Good luck.
