Food is always good! I order before by calling and food is ready in less then 30 minutes. Only issue is that sauces can get pricey.

I live maybe 5 minutes away from here and order here regularly, I call ahead with my order and it's ready in 15-20 minutes and is usually cheaper than the other Asian restaurants nearby

After reading a ton of reviews and comparing them to my own experiences here I had a few thoughts.
1: This is a seemingly “family run” business which is open 6 days a week…and the same people are there (including their kids who we have watched grow up) day in and day out.
2: I am not expecting this food to make my taste buds explode like PF Changs…I am going here to get take-out when I don’t want to cook…and while not perfect every time, I have never had “gross” food.
3: Everyone is so critical of the “hateful woman” who is abrupt, not overly friendly, and seemingly unkind to customers and her family alike… Personally I don’t know her, but God calls me to be be kind to her, and since nobody seems to be lining up to do so, (at least when I am picking up food) I will smile, show gratitude for her providing me the opportunity NOT to have to cook. And I will actually TIP HER!
None of us knows what these folks have faced to end up in Benson, NC…but I don’t imagine it has been or IS often easy. So I will continue to show them grace, treat them like the red letters in the Good Book tell me to… and remember that a smile and a “Thank You” may be more than they expect from most folks…

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant. We have ate at A LOT of Chinese places and the taste of everything is better here. The rice, the dumplings, the wontons, the Lomein, the meat, the egg drop soup.. I mean everything is better here!

i love china eight me and my family have been eating here for years and it’s always been good i personally have never had any issues what so ever and you can get a good amount of food for a decent price and everything they have is good

The food is always good at China Eight. My favorites are the house looks mein, steamed dumplings and the orange chicken. Sometimes the owners can be a little off putting but I think that's a cultural thing so I don't take it personally. You get a lot for your money and the white sauce is worth the extra $.70 😃

I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan with white rice.The white rice is so good, soft and not so dry. And the white sauce is light and less, so it's not too moist to make the rice sticky. The only thing I don't like is the egg roll is too dry and hard to eat. Very reasonable price.

Love their Rangoon, Hot and Sour Soup, and egg rolls! Everything I've tried has been excellent! The English spoken is not great, but they can get your order right. It would be nice to see a few smiles here and there, but the not-so-friendly greetings don't affect the taste of the food!

By far my favorite Chinese restaurant to frequent. I have never had anything but great service and yummy food in the 8 years I've been going there.
