The burgers and fries here are phenomenal!!!! Havent had T&F in almost 9 years, when i came back to my home state and town i had to have it. Only thing missing was those wooden forks you used to get with the fries lol
Great, fresh food and friendly service! #TeamTastee
We took a long ride and stopped here. Food was average. I like the atmosphere of the old style ice cream places. Had a decent size menu. Some may say prices are high but prices everywhere have skyrocketed in the last couple of years. Service was pleasant
My mom and I went and got ice cream since I was craving it. It was very good. Great service, nice staff. Fairly quick when we were there.
This place is pretty darn good. Basic menu with well cooked food. French Fries are cut thick and cooked to perfection. It is cash only, so be ready with money and tip the staff.
Burgers are a staple to this restaurant’s menu, and they delivered.
Visiting from California while staying in Boston. Drrove to Vermont for a hike and was starving afterward. Saw this place and pulled over. We got a BLT and Grilled cheese. So cute. Outside picnic tables to eat. Great food too
Tasty Freez nostalgic soft serve ice cream which started in 1950 in Joliet Illinois, i believe is one of eight left in the United States and still faithfully serving awesome small towns like Bennington in Vermont.
Quick. Great tasting. Lots of options. Ladies at the counter were very nice and had great smiles. Reasonable prices. Easy parking. Clean tables.
Stopped by for lunch. Chili dog was basic - meaty chili on a butterflied grilled hot dog - it was messy and everything a chili dog should be. I see myself stopping there for a chili dog by myself for some "self care" moments.
For 5 meals, drinks, and 5 desserts we spent under $80, left full and happy. No complaints or items to critique which is rare for us.
Also loved that's its across from the deer park so the kidd enjoyed a little post meal walk to see the ducks and the deer.
It's a nice place to go with family. Can get a little pricey but is good food and ice cream. There is a deer park across the street where you can sit with your family and eat .
I've gone here for over 25 years now, it's changed a little but still the same great feeling as it's always had.
The train tracks that run behind the stand have been removed in favor of a walkway, the iconic menu that was on the side of the building is no longer there, but the food and service is just as good as it was 20+ years ago.
Best soft serve in the area and no better burgers elsewhere 😋
Great milk shakes and soft serve ice cream (five stars for those). The soft serve raspberry flavours we had didn't really have a distinctive taste, they all tasted of vanilla.
The burgers, on the other hand, weren't that good. We'd have had a better-tasting burger at a big chain, which is a shame. My wife liked the patty melt, though (essentially a cheeseburger on toasted slices of bread rather than a bun). For me, that could be improved as well.
Great food, ice cream, very nostalgic & its been there since 1960 ! Dont miss this place or you'll be sorry !
