We travel to Benicia weekly to take my daughter to tutoring. I love surprising her with the occasional treat from Double Rainbow! We have loved interacting with the staff and trying different combos of milk tea (my girls favorite is mango jelly). Love the fun atmosphere, COVID protocols, selection of ice cream, donuts and other treats! Hard not to smile surrounded by ice cream chairs and sugar.

Such good friendly, family, welcoming vibes here. I liked my affogato, while others enjoyed their ice cream, sherbet, and specials while also considering ordering bubble tea. We also had a blast taking pictures in their fun and colorful shop.

Was excited that someone was selling shaved ice here in town (Benicia). Well, I was then sorely disappointed as I got a cup full of crunchy ice pellets like in a typical snow cone. Their menu is misleading and they really shouldn't call it Shaved Ice. Shaved Ice consists of finely-shaved ice bits with a smooth, snow-like consistency. Double Rainbow, please update your menu to reflect what really is sold. I gave you 3 stars for friendly service and the ice cream is decent that I've had in the past. Get some real Hawaiian shave ice on the menu please!

Came back for a visit and couldn't wait to go to my favorite ice cream store! Had a hard time deciding on an ice cream flavor because they are all so rich and creamy. Before I left town I decided to try a loaded hot chocolate, it was fabulous! Can't wait for my next visit. Left town with a carmel latte, it was delicious too!

Great service with phenomenal quality ice cream. Every time we come to Benicia we go for a walk down 1st Street so we can stop at Double Rainbow. The staff is super friendly and patient since there are so many great flavors to try before picking one. It's worth it to get a pint for later too.

Delicious. The cones are a trip - I’m used to just sugary waffle cones but here they have different flavors that are so colorful. Got a scoop of taro and a scoop of matcha with an orange cone and it was like eating Nickelodeon lol. GET YOU SOME.

My daughter took me here with my grandsons and ice cream place has cutest table and chairs looking like ice cream cones and delicious flavors. The two young women that work there were so nice 👍🤗 gave a sticker to my grandson . Cute place

Great ambiance, very inviting colors a space. Yummy ice cream. It was a nice break from our walk in the town.
