Our server was the owner Chris. I must say he was beyond a delight to have. His recommendations on food was spot on and on that note the food was phenomenal! We had a great experience from start to finish and will definitely be repeat customers. I highly recommend taking your family/friends there for some exquisite Cuban cuisine!

This place has a short menu. How refreshing! Ywou ever wonder how these restaurants with six page menus keep all the various ingredients in each dish fresh? They don't. But Cuban Kitchen has a curated menu and everything is excellent. Service (Chase) was stellar as well. See photo below of the ox-powered delivery van I saw pull up with fresh produce! Kast's Tip: Check out your cigar box (at your booth). We found many words of wisdom (see photo below), or visit the tiki bar in the bathroom (see photo...) K

I'm cuban and I can tell that food is really good and keeps the original cuban kitchen flavor. Nice and friendly service. Highly recommended.

This place is insanely delicious! This was our first time coming here. We loved the atmosphere, the bar, and the small restaurant feel. Everything is made fresh in the kitchen. The Meats are flavorful and tender! We even bought their homemade peach habenero hot sauce! I highly recommend this place for the whole family!

Authentic Cuban cuisine in Bend, Oregon? Absolutely! What a great find! Walking in off the street, one is immediately transported to a tropical hideaway replete with the colors, sounds, smells, and tastes of Cuba. Chris and Cristina have created a flavorful escape from the mundane in what is obviously a labor of love. We tried the empanadas to start, along with a Cuban cafecito (shots of intense sweetened espresso that kick started our meal). The empanadas were flaky and delicious and we fell in love with the house made peach habanero hot sauce ($10 a bottle to take home). #worthit The Cuban sandwich, the ropa vieja (8hr roasted shredded beef that melts in your mouth), rice, black beans, and plátanos maduros were exceptional. We will return again and again!

Just wow. Decided to give this place a shot while visiting en route for the Oregon BDR. What a find. Food was incredible but DON'T MISS THE DESSERTS. I ordered the loaded tostones with pork (see photo). Delicious, and the house hot sauce is excellent. But the flan and the guava pastry, oh god. I was back in Miami, and even better. And the place! Kitschy but legit, in the best way. The photos of old American cars on the wall - quintessentially Cuban. This place is a hidden gem. This will be a 100% Stop every time I come to Bend.

Beautiful restaurant and bar, great atmosphere. The food is fresh as could be. They bake the Cuban bread daily in house. The owner is on site and eager to please his guests. Definitely a great place for a different vibe. Don't forget to try the mango habanero hot sauce!

Homemade in house flavorful Cuban dishes. Polamilla was tender with crisp salted tostones and perfectly cooked rice and beans. We arrived near the end of the night and that were out of a few things, and we got the last rope Viejas and the last guava pastry. The guava pastry, muah!

Excited to find an authentic Cuban place in Bend with many gluten free options! We arrived late and most of the menu was sold out so my daughter and I ordered a beef dish we weren't sure about and both loved it! The plantains were some of the best we've had, cooked perfectly 😁 Next time we will get there earlier!
