The Bunkhouse

Love this place. Food was great and thought the prices were really reasonable. So many places charge for large portions which I don't want in the first place. The Bunkhouse figured it out. Great food that I don't have to feel like I overpaid for nor overeat. And of course, staff and atmosphere are great.

I love this place, Highly recommend it. Great deals, great place to watch the game. One of the better places to get a decent breakfast. Locally owned, awesome people that are about the community.They have pull tabs and a host of other games. Weeknights you can always find a bar full of interesting ppl. I dont know who the challenge is named after now but you gotta do the Matt challenge.

The Bunkhouse Bar and Grill is a quaint but energetic place to go in the Bemidji Area. Located just a few blocks from campus and on a major highway, this establishment was remodeled and looks the way it does today in December of 2016. The staff are polite and very immersed into the culture around. There are a few televisions for viewing and currently has a Pacman machine. The menu has a lot to offer and is quite unique. For the vegetarians out there, there are a few options for you! Bring a few friends or come by your own, this place is a nice get away from your average bar scene.

I'm glad to see they figured out a good formula for this location. Definatley geared towards college students, but not in a bad way, semi-sports bar vibe to it. I will be honest, I was skeptical of this place at first, but I really enjoyed my breakfast It was simple but unique enough to be its own. The menu is cheaper than some places but food was made well. Not sure if the gravy was made from scratch or not, but my wife and I didn't care cause it tasted good. Would recommend the biscuits and gravy and the Viking Scrambler. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that the coffee tasted burnt and really acidic...which is important for a place that serves breakfast in my book. I'm also picky about coffee, so most people probably wouldn't care! Will be coming back again.

Visited this evening for the third time since it opened. Food was as yummy as the first couple time we visited. Servers/Bartenders were friendly and attentive. Not sure if the games have always been there, but we noticed the cribbage boards during this visit and enjoyed a game. Maybe laminate the playing cards so they stay in good shape. Otherwise that was a nice touch. We'll be back :)

My wife and I stopped by for lunch today. Service was good the restaurant is nice and my wife liked her lunch. Now comes my lunch trying to be unpredictable l ordered the hamburger on a waffle l would categorize it with the term " different " not probably something you wish to put on your bucket list ! But other than that not bad.
