Zeeks Place

Stopped by to try it out. Indoor dining was unavailable. I did takeout and the ladies taking the order were very friendly. I ordered the Zeek and a Buffalo chicken cheese steak. As we had to take it to go I must say the bread held up nicely and it wasn't too soggy. This sandwich tasted very good. The zeek was not bad either, it had good flavor and it tasted fresh. Wife is very picky about her chicken and said that the grilled chicken was well cooked and didn't have fat or nasty peices. I did order fries and maybe because of the ride but they could of been a bit warmer but the fries portion was very good. Overall, I will be back, they were friendly and the food was good.

Not sure what happened but the food we had on 4/9/22 was nothing like what we were getting during the Covid shutdown. Cheese steaks were dry and cold. The bread was not very good. French fries were also cold. Pretty disappointing. Should have been one star but the staff seemed like they were very busy waiting on customers so they earned definite recognition. What we were getting during covid for 30 dollars is now 39!!! . That's a bit of a jump. I know it's the Russians fault.

Good, smaller food and ice cream stand, just off the road. We stopped for ice cream after visiting Jenny Jump State Park, and the waffle cone with scoops of cookies and cream and mint chocolate chip ice cream was very tasty! The server was friendly and helpful, and gave us a sample of a flavor we hadn't had before for our consideration.

Don’t go. Don’t waste your time and money like I did. A double cheeseburger is over $7 just to have something smaller and worse than a McDonald’s cheeseburger. Waited over twenty minutes for two bacon cheeseburgers because the cashier forgot to let me know my food was done. It had been bagged and everything. By the time I ate it, it was lukewarm and soggy. The taste is so bland, it’s not exaggeration to say I had to drown my burger in salt to taste anything.

Zeek’s ice cream is much better than their food. My chicken cheesesteak was what you’d expect from an ice cream shop, it was great but it wasn’t bad. The fries were really good though, crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle without being greasy. My ice cream was the star of the show for sure though! :)
