Red Wolfe Inn

Just wow. My expectations were high coming in from all the great things I was hearing and they weren't just met they were exceeded. For being such a small place with only about a dozen tables and bar seating made it feel even more exclusive to be able to get a table there. ( reservations are extremely recommended) the menu has a surprisingly large amount of options but everything sounded so good reading it. Started with the appetizer sampler and all five things were delicious. My entree was a 32 oz New York strip. They have lots of options for the size of steak you want which was really nice. When the steak came I was shocked how thick it was. It was like a true Butcher House cut. It was cooked perfectly, very tender, and not over seasoned either. I did not need any steak sauce but I did try they're homemade steak sauce which came in 2 options. Sweet and spicy. I tried the sweet and it was delicious. For dessert we shared a tres leches cake which was also very good. Overall between the great service we got from our waitress and the excellent quality of food we got made this place a definite new favorite place to dine at. The prices are also Fair and you definitely get what you pay for. Wish I could give it more than five stars.

I am a well known pain in the $&@ about my steak. This was my first time at the Red Wolf Inn. I cannot say enough about the entire experience. This place is in the middle of nowhere. We sat at the bar and ordered from a great beer list. The calamari was decent as an ap. THE STRIP STEAKS were fantastic. Perfectly prepared (medium rare to rare but still hot) and tasty! I would go back tomorrow.

Easily one of the top 5 meals I have ever had. Every time I took a bite of something, my mind was blown. Even the birch beer was fantastic. Who would have ever thought crumbled blue cheese on steak would be one of the greatest flavors you could taste. Can't wait to go back again and again and again.

New renovations to the exterior have made the location more inviting. The sign that once hung from the building has been mounted to the wall within the dining room. Food was good. Highly recommend any of the steaks or Pork chop specials. Gets pretty crowded in the early evening so reservations are welcomed.
