So I’ve given them a bad review a few months ago. I experienced a different staff today. My food fresh and they are very polite. The best was also correct.

I visited the Belton Burger King earlier this evening (6/15). After placing my order, I sat down and noticed that the restaurant was very warm. I asked the front counter why it was so hot and was told that the air conditioner was out. I suggested that it was very uncomfortable for customers that chose to eat in the lobby and that a sign on the door warning of the lack of AC would be nice. The response from the young lady at the register was that they were in it all day. I replied that they were being paid to be there but I was a customer – there was a big difference. Others chimed in that part of the AC was fixed and they were trying to get the rest fixed. Somebody said they were on “a list”. I was told that the owner and general manager knew of the situation. I suggested some fans would make things more comfortable. Their response was the owner refused to provide fans. I later spoke to a guy that identified himself as the associate manager. He had a pony tail and tattoos with no name tag visible. He also never offered his name. When I again mentioned getting a sign on the door for customers, he said he had not been told to put up a sign. When questioned again, he said he was not authorized to make a decision about a sign. The guy displayed an extreme “I don’t care attitude”. I asked who the manager was and he said he could not tell me. When asked who the owner was, he stated that he did not know. He said that only the manager was able to contact the owner. I was finally told that the manager should be at the store in the morning. When I told him that I was going to publicize this issue through social media and escalate to corporate, he again did not seem to care. If the customer part of the store is hot, I wonder how much hotter the area where the employees work is. I am in the process tonight of getting in touch with some of my OSHA friends to see if this can be investigated by them.

I'd like to tell you a story. On the Saturday, of last, my crew and I were overcome with hunger pains. Stomachs gurgled, attitudes smashed, and inhibitions on a decent dining establishment were becoming few and far between. Alas, over the horizon, an all too familiar beacon of hope and understanding loomed within view. My navigator quickly suggested that we alter course and head straight toward the sirens call that read out, "BURGER KING". Perhaps, a succulent morsel acquired here shall meet the demands of a ravaged, albeit well-dressed garrison. As unembarkment became priority, I found myself racing through the front passageway, the smaller ones were close behind. Stepping up to the front counter, I was immediately greeted by a lumbering giant of a man. He introduced himself and offered to take our order. Commander Holly was precise in his offering of bovine flesh (with cheese of course) and sliced potato cutlets. We agreed on fair compensation for this transaction, to which marked the cue for his fleet of chefs and financial engineers to prepare a feast, the likes which had only been procured a fortnight hence, when we last visited this establishment. Much to our delight, the food was divine, the ambiance was superb, and the drink bubbly. I was aghast at the notion of leaving this place so soon, but alas, the children were fed, and the wife was getting irritated that I was reveling in my "food coma". When I confronted Commander Holly to express my gratitude for the service rendered to us on this fine day, he jovially shouted, "Belay that gratitude, my friend! For it is I that am grateful, to you, for choosing this dining hall to help you release famines grip on your heart, and your body! Be Well!" And with that, Commander Holly, the crew, and even the entire building had vanished into thin air. Was this all illusion? Were our appetites firmly sated? Was this man the actual Burger King, helping wayward travelers from dining on the carcasses of their mates to keep going? No one knows. His name, his crew and his commanding officers will go henceforth with glory and honor. Wherever they may be.

This is right to you Craig. Since your Caine's journey began you've neglected what got you to that point: Burger King. You appear to have no concern as you've neglected the AC for the beginning of another summer. Last year your employees & customers, some traveling being right off 49, some local regulars who are elderly, got to sit in stifling heat to eat. You claim to expound Christian values & then you have no empathy or understanding for the employees who have served you faithfully & the customers who helped you get to where you are today. If you're not going to respect your emoyees or the customers who got you to where you COULD invest in Caine's let it go. Take care of who got you there or let it go. That would be more Christlike.

I'm always happy that BK offers a vegan burger. Definitely forward thinking for a chain. But as for this location, I don't know why this is the case, but they are always so friendly and kind. The workers aren't grumpy like so many fast food locations (and let's be honest, they have every reason to be, it's not the most enjoyable job), and they are always helpful and quick. If something is wrong they fix it, no questions asked. At least, that's been my experience. Kudos to the management here.
